Got it for my girlfriend to use while we take fishing trips so we can each have our own stuff so we can go off on our own if we want to. It all fits on her fishing Fanny pack and doesn’t weigh it down to much so it’s still comfortable to pack

This is a very nice set of fishing tools. These have a long point on them and will be much easier to use to remove hooks than the shorter set of pliers that I was using. I fish in a kayak so having a lanyard to attach them to the kayak is necessary and the lanyard provided works well, stretches as needed and appears to be well built.The scissors are small and perfectly sized for trimming line which is all that is needed while fishing. They come with a retractor so that I was able to attach them to my kayak. The lip gripper works well and comes in handy for grabbing a fish when necessary.The reason I gave these four stars and not five is because the pliers do not lock in a closed position unless they are inserted into the holster. I have them attached to my kayak using the lanyard so the holster is not needed and I wish that they were not always in the open position. The fish gripper comes with a wrist lanyard but I would prefer to have them attached to the kayak like the scissors and pliers. The hole on the fish gripper is as wide as the handle so I was not able to add a spare lanyard to attach the fish gripper to my kayak without first adding a key chain ring to it.The tools are well made and I'm already getting good use out of them.
