Reading reviews I get the feeling the one-star ones did the same thing I did. I use my impact driver for everything. I take it everywhere I go and it gets used a ton. Unfortunately, these bits work horribly in it. And horribly is an understatement.So why did I give them five stars? Because they are made for a hammer drill, not an impact driver. They do virtually nothing in an impact driver, and if you push hard enough you might burn your way an inch or so in hard concrete. In a hammer drill they sink in like frozen butter - I wouldn't say softened because you could just push it in then. The difference was night and day.And in the proper tool they lasted a long time, as in at least 40 holes with one bit. Now I did regularly start a hole, pop the bit out to cool slightly and to get some of the crud out of the hole, and then proceeded. My holes ran about 3.5" deep.I never would have believed there could be such a difference in performance between the two tools. I always thought the impact driver created sufficient pounding to use a bit like this. Boy was I ever wrong. Just use a hammer drill and these work fine.

Amazon sent writing parts first, but got it right second time. These bits (2 bits) drilled eight 1.5" deep holes in old concrete deck (4 holes per bit), with no problem.

I use these with tapcon screws and a m12 hammer drill.I drill 16 holes using just one bit in basement concrete floor to install Radon Cover and drill bit still look like new.

I usually buy these at the big box store for our company. We use them to drill holes in tiles on a daily basis. They last for quite a while and multiple jobs depending on what we are drilling, but so far, these has been the most reliable for what we use them for

I needed these to drill 3 cm holes into solid concrete. They worked ok for the most part, was more work than I had anticipated. I figured "Bosch" would be a premium product, but quite honestly, I bought some 5mm carbide bits made in china that went through concrete quite a bit more easily. Not bad, but I'd probably not buy these again.
