  • Most Durable - Diablo made Dura-Carbide features up to 2X more carbide that withstands up to 1800°F of intense heat to combat rebar hits versus standard bits that fail at 800°F.
  • Longer Life - Up to 7X longer life versus standard 2-cutter hammer drill bits. Tri-Metal Fusion Welding features up to 3X stronger weld to keep the full carbide head intact during extreme impact such as rebar.
  • Precise and Stability - Precision tip delivers stability and accuracy required for fast, precise holes. Optimized flute design removes dust faster, keeping the carbide head cooler for ultimate strength and durability.
  • Impact Resistant - With 4-Cutter smaller bits of rebar for controlled, consistent carbide wear and reduced vibration delivering fast, precise holes and longer life.
  • Superior Performance - Optimized for maximum performance in corded and cordless SDS Plus or SDS Max rotary hammers and wear mark indicator ensures precise hole making.

Diablo’s revolutionary, complete range of SDS-Plus Rebar Demon 4-cutter full-carbide head hammer bits are the first full line of bits designed to be the strongest, most durable, and fastest solutions on the market. Diablo’s ultra-hardened, full-carbide head bits withstand the stress of high powered hammer drills and the impact of rebar cutting, delivering extreme durability and strength. Produced with Tri-Metal Diffusion Bonding technology, the full-carbide head resists heat and prevents breakage for maximum life and productivity. Precision Tip delivers the stability and accuracy required to produce fast, precise holes in concrete with rebar for ANSI approved anchor setting. Diablo hammer bits are optimized for maximum performance in corded and cordless SDS Plus and SDS Max rotary hammers.

This masonry bit was very effective. 5/8" for anchor bolts and was the best bit I had for the project.

Had to install a bunch of rebar stubs and this bit made for easy work. I like the four cutting heads design. I have many of both two and four for the hammer drill and the roto-hammer, and I find the four cutters works a bit better. And this bit made it so easy. Normally I would use the roto-hammer with its heft to drill the holes, but I wanted to give the smaller hammerdrill a try this time. With this bit the time per hole was almost identical and there was no fatigue at all. Good bit.

I use this for rotary hammer drilling holes for granite splitting wedges and for expansion bolts for moving granite slabs and boulders. Does a nice job. This is about as large as I would go for SDS Plus rotary hammers. Go to SDS Max for larger. The SDS Plus will do the work but the hammer itself will wear prematurely. The bit won't though.

This product was just what I expected. It cut through concrete like butter.

I have try lots of drill bits but this is one of the best bit. "WORTH THE MONEY" I'm a carpenter in South Florida I restored houses and build new homes and something they have in common and is rebar. Wen I build new addition room to the existing house we need to connect the new beam to the existing and always is the rebar present but wit this drill there's nothing standing on the way in.

These bits are very impressive. I purchased the 5/8x6x8 to drill holes in a concrete pad and used "feathers and wedges" to break chunks of concrete off. It was a pretty big pad, 15x15 or so, and 4-6 inches thick, reinforced with wire mesh (maybe 3/16" thick?). The bit had no problem cutting through the metal mesh along with the concrete. I sometimes drilled up to 50 holes in a row before stopping to put the feathers and wedges in and it held up perfectly. Incredible.

It dulled VERY quickly. I used it for less than an hour of work...and not all of that was drilling. Maybe I got a bad one? Freud-Diablo has great products, so this was surprising.
