Worked perfectly to punch a hole through a press board cabinet to pass electrical through (grounded heavy gauge power plug for power strip outlet installation inside the cabinet. Took a while, but didn't chew up the laminate covering either inside or outside the cabinet. Very pleased, especially for the price.

With the name Bosch I was disappointed there was not a sharper cutting edge. Nice box for storage. I use em and also some I have 40+ years the cut the same.

I got these to make tea light holders using 1 3/4-inch walnut, cherry & maple. They cut to the depth of 1 inch with no problems. When they wear out, I will be buying more. Great product.

Used on some maple hardwood to secure a bench top. Cut through the wood cleanly and efficiently with minimal effort. Will update if it breaks, but really only needed it for the one job. Thusly a lack of updating does not necessarily indicate continued and successful use of this tool.

I needed to flush in some 1/4" magnets into some 1/4" thick walnut. Standard drill bit would come through the other side by the time I got the hole deep enough to flush the magnet in. The BOSCH FB004 1/4 In. forstner bit worked perfect. It has a shallow pilot tip and cuts a round hole with a flat bottom so everything fit perfect. I will be buying some additional ones in the near future.
