Cons: No adapter/chuck for regular drill bits but you can find them out there. Not much of a problem when you consider that it's primary purpose is concrete, not wood work. It's too big for regular wood drilling but then again, in a pinch it will do the job if you have the correct bits although I bet if you try to use the hammer function with a regular chuck it would vibrate the chuck loose in short order.Pros: works like a beast but agile and light enough to work for hours if you have a big job. 4AH battery keeps going even when I am tired and done for the day. Use good quality concrete drills and this thing will go like nuts even punches through studs easily with the concrete drill so you can put in anchor bolts for the walls. Has the guts to do tile removal with a hammer chisel as well.TIP: Wear well padded gloves if you have a lot of holes to hammer out or you may get wrist fatigue from the vibration.Love this tool!

I'm renovating a basement originally finished in the 60s or 70s, and the previous owner made the dubious decision to apply a brick facade to one of the interior walls. I started going after it with a hammer and chisel but progress was difficult and frustratingly slow. Obviously, the project was going to require a new tool (as they often do, of course)I own a bunch of other Bosch tools, so my first choice when shopping a new one is usually Bosch. They offer several different hammer drills, but this one struck a good balance between power, weight, and price. In hammer-only mode, it made quick work of the bricks and mortar, smashing them into pieces with little effort required on my part. A very satisfying process - like a little mini jackhammer in your hands. It's a noisy and dusty process, so ear and lung protection is a must, but the tool was unbothered by the work. 20 feet of 7-foot tall brick wall didn't even run through one battery, either.I've also used it for drilling into concrete for anchoring bottom plates, and it makes fast and accurate holes in drill mode as well - much faster than my old method of just using a concrete bit in a regular drill/driver.It's held up well the the use I've put it through so far - chunks of bricks falling on it in the process didn't damage it at all.The value with the two 8Ah batteries is very, very good as well - I practically got the tool for free when you figure the cost of those.

I’m an electrical mechanic. I use this SDS heavily at work. The corded Bosch bulldogs (especially the older ones) have always stood out to me for their capability while still being affordable, and this battery powered one packs just as much punch as the corded version. I’d been warned that these may burn up batteries pretty quickly, bit I’ve not found it to use so much power that I can’t drill with it all day when using 8ah batteries. For home use, the 4ah batteries that come in this particular kit are perfectly serviceable and will give you plenty of juice. Might be the best tool I own now.

But, this thing is staying in my arsenal. Had to drill 24 holes into concrete, 2inch deep for pool cover anchors. Tried the old hammer drill driver with loud, slow, sloppy, expensive broken bit results. Ordered this and the difference is night and day. Almost like drilling into hardwood. Just ordered the floor scraper bit to remove old linoleum and glue from a concrete floor. Will probably also order a chisel or two for concrete demo. Worth the investment if you have any concrete holes to drill, or tile/linoleum demo work in your future.

Buenos materiales . Buena potencia y buena relación Precio - Calidad .
