Drilled holes for rebar in seconds that would have taken many minutes with a 3/8 drill and carbide bit. Higher wattage, hammering, and SDS-Max combine to speed things remarkably. Weight is, of course, more, but tolerable. Bit changes are easy with the smoothly-operating chuck.

I had to drill a 4in hole threw 10 in concrete wall and it worked great. Plenty of power and did the job!

I bought this unit to replace my old Hoteche that finally gave up the ghost. After a number of years and some large projects like taking a concrete stairway out of a house and cutting out about 2 cubic yards of rock in my backyard.I figured if a $100. Unit lasted through all that it was worth buying another one. New one is even more powerful than the old one. Only mistake I made was that I did not notice it was SDS Max instead of SDS Plus. I have a large selection of SDS Plus bits and now have to purchase an adapter for those.

When using this product, a screw loosened and part of the switch turning it from the drill/hammer/hammer drill, fell out, the small yellow piece and the tension spring, causing the tool to be only hammer drill only. I emailed the company and they sent the parts out quickly. Their email responses were quick and concise.I have been using this for the past 6 weeks daily and it works well.

If you compare with name brands it doesn’t compare. But it works and beats doing it by hand.

I own an excellent Bosch SDS-Plus rotohammer for various projects but have for a long time wanted an SDS-Max unit just for clay-spade digging in our clay-heavy soil. -A larger tree planting project justified this purchase and after two long days of use (clay spade purchased separately), all is working well.Granted, clay is a lot easier than concrete, but the tool sounds good and isn't getting hot.Update: After 1+ year of weekend use in hard-ish clay soil, this tool has dug close to 10 different utility trenches at 2' deep, and helped us plant 25 new trees. The key with these low cost tools is to not skimp on quality bits (we use a Bosch clay spade) - the bits the come with the unit are softer and give way when attempting to do heavy work, but with a good bit, this machine has done great work. Now, after 15 months of weekend use, the power switch is starting to fail. I'm on the fence whether I take the time to repair or try my luck with a new unit and give this one to a handy person who has time to fiddle with the switch.

It works quite well. It’s quite similar to what other $500 rotary hammer drill.

Si funciona pero no lo utilizo para trabajo continuo pesado. Han roto concreto y bien.
