About this item

  • Optimized brazing and hardening process for long life
  • 15% faster (compared to S4L)
  • Bosch-made carbide tip is tougher and more durable under heavy loads
  • Proprietary Bosch hardening process results in more holes per bit
  • Ideal for anchoring and through-hole applications in concrete

Carbide tipped for long life in tough applications. Centric tip ensures quick starts in concrete. Wear mark alerts user when tip wears beyond ANSI specification. Bit runs cooler thanks to improved flute design.

Needed a good masonary bit in this size for my project and the price was right. Bit performed excellent.

I used this bit to drill 8 holes in a well cured concrete (old) patio. The holes were clean and consistent sized with little wear visible on the bit.

No problems, they work well. Note: if you maybe will hit rebar get the 4 flute ones. Just my opinion.

Initially I bought a different drill bit to do drill some holes in concrete and after drilling 2 holes the bit end broke and that’s when I got Bosch drill bit. The drill bit looks very solid and drilled through concrete with ease and I can clearly feel the difference between Bosch and other high rated drill bits. I highly recommend this product.

I drilled 6 3" deep holes to attach a window well retaining wall that had come loose. It could keep drilling all day, and made holes quick.

High quality concrete bit from Bosch. Needed to bore 4” deep holes in concrete porch slab to anchor a deck extension. Does not work w/HILTI drill but does work with most other drill brands.

The drill bit seems to be intended for use in concrete that is softer or less dense than the concrete that I was attempting to drill into. I used proper lubricant and the proper speed and the proper tool, but the bit became pretty dull very quickly. I didn’t even make one hole complete. I got some different bits that worked better (diamond tip). Kinda wish I had done a bit more research on these.
