I've picked up a couple of Bosch (new or renewed) items without any issues, all good as new. I suffered with a Skil plunge router for a couple decades, the Skil router twisted every time it was powered up. I finally ditched the Skil with our recent house move. This Bosch router is silky smooth when powered up, like why did I not replace the Skil years ago? I recently picked up a Ridgid circular saw as my old Porter Cable was having a challenging existence from occasional use sawing stucco and concrete with a diamond blade. The main bearing on the Ridgid seized on the third cross cut of a pine 2x6, I was shocked and returned the Ridgid circular saw to the store, Ridgid used to be a great name this made me sad. Years ago I had picked up a Makita hammer drill years ago only for it to die drilling a first hole for a few foundation bolt. I got my introduction to Bosch when I bought a Bosch hammer drill which worked like a knife through butter on the concrete. I'll stick with Bosch for my electric hand tool needs.

I wouldn't have known it was a rebuild/renew if it wasn't listed as such. Perfect condition, comes with tools and container and etc. Works great.

What's not to like? works as well as any full price router. comes with 1year guarantee, and it is a Bosch. They are as good as any on the market and much better than 90% of the rest.

overall upgrade from my old trim router. feels well-made and less vibration. I intend on using it a lot in the shop!

I like that it is not as loud as the full size router. Other Brands smaller Routers are louder than the full size they make. Smooth operation.

The unit was like new, worked just fine, and seems to be a well made, quality item. Don't know the reason for the original return, but I'm glad I found it!

Bought a reconditioned router. Sent it back because it wouldn't move up or down.Haven't ordered a new one yet but, when I do it will be a new one not rebuilt

I was getting too ready to buy a trim router that was made in China, when I happened across this. Getting a rebuilt Bosch trim router for the price of a Chinese router was a huge plus.
