Dangerous, unsafe tool. While using it the second time with the laminate trimmer bit, I noticed the bit was farther out than I had set it. At that moment, the bit shot out of the router and across the room. Since one of the other reviewers had this experience, I had made sure the bit was good and tight.

Used this Dewalt clone only once, bit it performed admirable. The router is surprisingly well constructed for its price point.

Misleading listing. It was made to look like it was a Dewalt product. Took forever to ship and when I finally got the item the original listing was no longer available to verify what I thought I was purchasing.

Short - I returned it and bought the Makita.Long- I have 3 Makita 18v routers, one went missing. So we needed a replacement. Majority of the time and â…›" round over bit lives in the routers. The knockoff router would probably be fine for that. But sometimes you need to make a plow in timbers for an LED light strip, aluminum with the lense type. Had to make 2 passes (normal) to achieve the width of the plow necessary. Well 1- the adjustable speed kept going from 6 to 3&4, not ideal. 2- the router bit would walk out of the collet unless you used your hulk strength to tighten it, twice... 3- the clasp for depth adjustment would NOT hold, so the plow kept getting too deep, I tightened the clasp mechanism 3 times. 4- the "guide fence" is sub par at best, very sloppy and hard to adjust and you guessed it - had a hard time staying in place. Though I'd give the knock off a try, not worth the $50 savings.

Seems to be very high quality. Fast breaking when shut off. Nice machine. Use it a lot more than the bigger router.

Great buy. The only downside I experienced was… this won’t last long with less powerful or well used batteries (minutes) so I had to buy new ones. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind.
