Came in on time and was worth the wait. I didn’t expect it to be OEM, but it was in a Bosch box so that was a nice bonus. Like others have said, this is t really a ‘soft’ base pad. It does have a little squish to it though and I would call it standard. My folks are downsizing and pops gave me all his old tools. Mostly in various states of disrepair. This one fix allowed me to replace and clean the sander and now it’s working extremely well. Bet this will last another 10 years or so.

This was perfect. This is an OEM replacement, not that I wouldn't buy non-OEM if OEM wasn't available, but let's face it - you buy the highest quality tool when you buy Bosch, so why wouldn't you use an OEM replacement part if available? My original pad was old, yellowed and cracked, so replacement was mandatory. Only problem was not with the part - I've owned this sander for over 20 years, so getting the nut loose to replace it wasn't the easiest. If you have to use some chemical penetrant to release it, please make sure to clean it and replace the thread lock.

This is a replacement for the original pad on my Bosch sander, which disintegrated over a couple years of light use. Recently while I was using the sander to sand a tabletop I was making I kept seeing gummy residue on the work surface. I finally figured out that it was the foam cushioning for the pad that was disintegrating as I was using it. One contributing factor to the disappointing durability could be that it was stored in a garage that gets hot in the summer.I noticed the Bosch website says that the current pad has "improved life." I hope so. I have given this 4 stars based on the fact that it has performed fine on the job I needed it for, but I need to see evidence that the life has indeed been improved.

Great pad for my aging 3107DVS. Enough flex so that it doesn't want to gouge on transitions. But firm enough for high rates of removal when you lean on it. Recommended.BTW - Don't forget to put a drop of Blue Threadlocker on the pad hold down screw.

The velcro on my original pad was coming off in places, and this part is an exact replacement for the original part. First, it took some muscle to remove the original part. It was on TIGHT. I had to use a small breaker bar/pipe on the allen wrench to remove the original screw. AFter installing the new part, it kept coming loose. After the 3rd time, I used thead locking compound and put the screw in tight, really tight. It's been good since then.

My Bosch sander stopped sticking to the sandpaper disks and they’d fly across the garage when I’d try to use it. I thought I’d have to buy a new sander but these replacement sanding pads came up when I searched for Bosch sanders. It installed very easily and works well. Be sure to check your sander model against the list of models in the product description.

Good quality and a perfect fit replacement, but an expensive considering the cost of similar sanding backing pads from other vendors.
