If you're using your table saw here, there, and everywhere, and don't always have dust collection available, this is a fantastic way to minimize the mess. Holds a lot, too, so you're not emptying it every time you turn around. I've had several friends buy this on my recommendation as well. So nice to have.

I am using this currently on my DeWalt compact jobsite table saw, and no other items were necessary to attach this. Before purchasing this, when I didn't want to go through the hassle of connecting a vacuum and turning it on every time I made a cross cut on a 3" wide wood floor board, I used a rubber band and disposable contractors trash bag to collect dust. This collector bag works very well even without having air power like a shop vac. The efficiency of this would probably be dependent on what kind of saw blade you are using, and how wide the clearance on your throat plate is. I am currently using a Freud 10" combination rip/cross blade with 50 teeth, with the original throat plate that came with the table saw (probably 1/2" opening). The more teeth your blade has, the finer the particles of dust, and the smaller the throat plate opening, the less chance of dust coming back up from the base of the saw during the rotation. The important fact about this is the composition of the bag. Its very solid, has a very high thread count, but its VERY breathable. I tried to blow into the opening as hard as i could, and the bag seriously didn't expand/move. So this means there is no resistance to airflow, and therefore doesn't kick the dust back up to your face. The shape is perfect, because there is nothing for the dust to sit on near the opening, and prevents any clogging. The bag is very easy to empty, and to get my point across, I tried clapping my hands with the bag 1/3 filled with sawdust, and no dust escaped through the fabric! That is awesome. And also, the height of the bag happens to be the exact height of the opening of the port on the table saw and the ground, so the bag doesn't sag on the ground, OR hang. The bottom just perfectly touches the ground.

It works well enough for what it was intended for. The bag is long enough that it rests on the floor. The stitching seems a little weak in places. There is definitely a fair bit of blow back from the blade that happens because of the bag. It also seems that the dust port clogs a little easier, making the problem worse. It's simple enough to remove the bag and unclog it, though. It works for what it was made for, and does reduce the amount of dust that flies out behind the saw. Anything that blows out from the blade seems to settle on the saw or right underneath it, which makes cleanup easier.

Like many reviewers here I use this bag with DeWALT jobsite table saw (model 7480, but I'm sure other trims will do as well). It does a great job, collecting probably a good 80-90% of all sawdust. The way most modern table saws are designed is that the blade is enclosed in the dust chute, and the rotation of the blade actually creates an air flow towards the chute exit with blade teeth working like fan blades. So it sucks most dust out that way. When I turn on the saw I can see the bag inflate, which is why it is important to have a bag that lets the air out (unlike plastic garbage bags) and keeps the dust in. So the saw sort of works like a vacuum by itself. I am sure, that attaching a shop vacuum will create even more suction, collecting even more dust, but when I tried - my circuit breaker made a firm protest. It told me that running a shop vacuum and a table saw on the same circuit is a no-no, and tripped right up. So I run them sequentially. First the saw with the bag attached, then I collect what dust remains on the table and a bit under the saw with a vac. I usually do the later at the end of a day or after especially heavy jobs, because there is not much left there. When I compare what ended up in the bag vs inside the vacuum - the bag is a clear winner by huge margin. Most dust ends up in there. And the circuit breaker approves of such an approach too.

What a great dust bag that fits my new Skil table saw. Fits perfect and collected almost everything that came through the dust portal under the blade.. Totally worth the 12 bucks and change to not have to sweep tons of saw dust off the floor. Just unzipped it and it all came out.. Would totally recommend if you are a simpleton woodworker like myself and dont have a fancy elaborate dust collection system in your shop. Not to mention that it is really long and went almost all the way to the floor making it able to hold quite a bit of dust. I will empty it every time I use it because its so easy, but its still nice to see that you get a good value for your money and they product is quality and well designed.

The Bosch 4100-9 saw that uses this dust collector bag produces lots of dust with the full 1/8" kerf blade that I prefer, hence "mucho polvo". That's about all the Spanish I know. This bag comes at a really fair price and works reasonably well. It hooks up with a spring clamp, no tools required. When I use it, I'm collecting perhaps two thirds of the dust, with the rest accumulating in the works of the table saw and on the floor. I normally use my shop vac which vastly reduces the amount of sawdust being produced to maybe just 10% that is not captured. But sometimes the bag is just easier if I've got just a few cuts to make, or if I'm operating outdoors where I'm less concerned. It is quite large and holds a surprising amount, so you don't have to empty it very often. As with all Bosch accessories, it is well designed and well executed.

I do not have a Bosch table saw but a Dewalt DWE780 job site table saw instead. This bag fits perfectly in my Dewalt. The bag has a metal wire and frame that clasps the dust opening of the table saw. The bag actually does a great job of reducing the dust that comes with operating a table saw. I am so glad I found this dust collector as I have no plans to upgrade to a more expensive shop dust collecting system. When I initially installed the bag it blew out a lot of dust and I was thinking if I made the right purchase. Turned out I had not fully installed the bag as there was a small gap close to the opening. After tightening the noose around the opening the bag did its job. This is a great little bag that does its job very well and worth the money spent.
