I searched high and low for some rose gold protective gear... I found some for almost 50 bucks from Impala, but WTH... I would rather invest that much into some new skates! Anyhow, it was also strange to me how nearly all of the protective wear I found was for children, so I figured the pink on these would be close enough and the size would be perfect. However, it is a bit big on me as an adult woman weighing 111 lbs. And heigh of 5'3. The color was a neon pink which is what I wanted so that when I painted over it; it would have the rose gold color of my skates. I also purchased a thick glitter paste from folkart to complete the look on all of my gear, and it came out even more beautiful than I had hoped for. I got my rose gold skate gear for under 16 dollars! The paint was only 6, and the gear was 10! Definitely a worthy DIY project as the gear came out so beautiful and matches the skates almost perfectly. The gear itself is very comfortable as well, but like I said; a bit loose.

I gave it a 5-star rating for delivery and design of colors, plus I wanted everyone to see this review.I am 5'11 and 190 lbs. These things were so tight they had me panicking about having them on. I am hypersensitive to fabrics. This felt like someone was trying to torture me with the material used. It was tight and I could feel the fibers digging into my skin. It was itchy, painful, and restrictive all at the same time. Why not use spandex or some super soft, airy stretch material that is more comfortable in the "sleeves" you slip your arms and legs in before you fasten the outer velcros? The hand guards were a joke too. They barely fastened with the velcro. Not everyone is a small petite person. When it says for adults, it should include the "talls" in that. I had to return them. Looks like I'll have to pay the "tall tax" and buy the $80 ones.

at 31 I'm getting back into skating so avoiding pain and injury are my priorities I bought these pads to have some general protection for my knees and palms so the elbow pads were a plus (I gave them to a friend) The knee pads are amazing, I pop out of bowls and land in a way where my knee pad scrapes against the ground and as a 190lb 5"10 man these knee pads still hold up. I fell on my hands while practicing a 360 after hurting my wrist and these wrist guards prevented me from feeling the full impact and scrapping my hands on a park ground. If you need a new set definitely cop these, if you're looking for an upgrade then check out triple eight's covert brand to wear under your clothes and feel less restricted

I got skates for my 28th birthday as these were in the amazon cart right with them. I have fallen SO many times and only got hurt once when I fell on my hip (get a butt pad too) every time I fell on my knees and hands I was confident because these bad boys are heavy duty!

Might be a little bit awkward when putting on the knee pads (depending on if you wear leggings or trousers), as they may rise (clothing) when pulling them up to the knee. Other than that they’re secure and comfortable.Ah almost forgot, I got the largest size and my sizing is adult M (uk)
