Break Your Subwoofer In
Much like the engine of a new automobile, a new subwoofer must go through a short but important process of “break-in” before it is run under harsh conditions. The “break-in” process will ensure the subwoofer is able to perform as it has been designed to.
This process involves subjecting the subwoofer to no more than low-to-medium volume levels for a number of hours in the enclosure. 3-4 hours is generally sufficient for the subwoofer’s suspension to loosen enough to prevent the voice coil(s) from overheating and causing failure.
The break-in period is also effective in extending subwoofer life. Over-driving the woofer before it has been properly broken-in will usually result in premature failure and poor performance.

Built-In Amplifier
Systems with a built-in amplifier do not require the addition of an external amp. They already have the power to play louder.
Class A/B
Our Class-A/B amplifiers feature specific linear circuitry that increases sound quality and power output while reducing distortion and improving efficiency.
MOSFET Power Supply
Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors quickly switch from full to non-conduction for high efficiency output.
High and Low Level Inputs
High-level inputs accept speaker output signals and low-level inputs accept pre-amp output signals to allow for the addition of amps and processors to standard factory or aftermarket source units.
Phase Control
This comes in handy if you are installing your subwoofer with the magnet facing out. Reverses the polarity (Positive/Negative) on your subwoofer terminals to reverse the direction of the low frequency BOOM that you are used to hearing.
Variable Bass Boost
Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it.
Variable Low Pass Filter
Variable low-pass filter gives you control over the frequencies that pass through to the subwoofer.
Variable Gain Control
The Variable Input Control allows the amplifier input to match the output signal from the head unit to achieve optimum performance when adjusted properly.

This sun sounds pretty awesome. Especially at the price point of $160ish bucks. Now, I have found that since the enclosed box is only 7 inches thick at its widest point, this bass is a littler tighter sounding than my previous 12 inch Rockford discard enclosed sub in my old car - that one rattled the mirrors a little more. This one vibrates the rear view mirror a little, and I can still feel some bass. For an SUV cab, it’s plenty without hurting my ears and can still slap. I also went with the low-profile enclosure so it doesn’t take up much storage space. Overall a very good subwoofer purchase. I do wish it came with a detachable wire hook-up plug like my old Rockford fosgate did when I needed to remove it for storage space. But I found Scoche sells one for about $20.If you’re looking for a powered sub for under $200, this is a fantastic options

Haven’t had any issues, I work in parts sales and I already know 99% of electrical issues are user error and not because of the product. This seemed pretty simple to wire especially since the amplifier was built into it. Instructions could’ve been a little more easily explained but I got the point of them and have had it for a few months now with no issues.

It's a solid sounding speaker and paired with an identical one gives you good sounding bass

I’m very disappointed in the speaker. Be careful don’t get it wet. It’s like getting cardboard wet the minute you get it wet it falls apart. It is not made out of wood. It’s made out of some kind of hard paper. Also, the speakers, very poor quality, damp. Hardly even pushes the speaker. I am very disappointed by beware don’t buy this speaker go somewhere else and find something else.
