I bought this stapler for my desk. I don't mind electrical cords and plugs on it. I don't use a "Hand" stapler, so a desk stapler works just fine. I bought this one because my not so old desk stapler gave up the ghost. It was not this brand. This one is a little loud but I prefer this sound to a half driven staple. It also uses standard staples, so I get to use the supply for my old stapler.

My old stapler gave up the ghost. I purchased the Stanley Bostitch impulse stapler. It is a little quitter than my old one, takes just a bit more room , but can it staple. It can staple up to 25 sheets of paper flat with the upper edge or angular. It is all black except where the business end is and is nice gray. I think this will last longer that I will live.

The stapler is made well and was a fair price. The older model of the same stapler worked a little better. The only bummer is that sometimes when you put the paper in it doesnt click right away. Its heavy duty and can staple lots of paper with no problem but sometimes you need to hold it with two hands. I would buy it again though. Works good 90% of the time.

Sturdy and operates well. I like the fact that you can store extra staples in the staple drawer. Means I don't have to go looking for staples when the machine runs out.

I feel like I'm being robbed. I have contacted the seller twice through amazon to request either a refund or replacement and have not received any reply of any kind. I used the stapler approximately 3 times to staple about 100 copies of 2 sheets of paper together before it stopped working. It refuses to staple unless I open the tray where one installs staples. When I close the tray I can then staple exactly one copy before it acts like it has no staples in it again. I did this about 10 or so times before I gave up using it and it's been in its box since my initial request for a refund or replacement. The product is defective and given the price it needs to be either replaced or my money returned. I am a teacher and bought it to make bulk copies for my classes. I kept regular staplers out for students to use but this was only used by me and kept locked in a closet when I wasn't actively making bulk copies. The stapler I received is malfunctioning and should be replaced by the seller. When the stapler worked it worked well (though it is loud like a large staple gun). I bought the stapler in late September and used it those few times (maybe 3) over the next month before it stopped working as properly.

This thing set up easy and worked, but when we used it everyone near jumped. This thing sounds like a gun going off when it staples. Incredibly - obnoxiously loud. No problem with the seller. Plexsupply delivered timely and took back the stapler hassle free and we have a refund and a new stapler on the way.

This stapler is somewhat nice. I does work well with stapling, but my biggest grip with it is loading the staples. The drawer in the front of it gets stuck and you have to pull somewhat hard to open it. Other than that, it works pretty decent.
