The loading button/tray stopped working after a few weeks. This was the problem with the previous Bostitch electric stapler and reason why we bought this one. It is disappointing that a tool needed for efficiency, is not reliable. We need one that works for the simple demands of a 45-sheet stapler. It would be helpful (unfortunate to have to do every time, however) if there was an easy way to open it (unscrew the 3 screws at base) and manually make this release button function, but not even that works - the point where this mechanism is housed is not accessible so, sure feels like a waste of money

The power of the stapler is awesome. It easily staples thick files. Unfortunately, the durability of this stapler is questionable. We have a home office situation , and need two staplers at all times. They get a lot of use.We have had problems with both units. It begins with the stapler jamming, making it necessary to separate it from the base in order to free up the mechanism. Eventually, the stapler just stops functioning, seeming not to read that paper is installed in its opening. The first was replaced by the company after an explanation via telephone. It looks like we will have to repeat the process for the second one. But we have ordered replacements anyway because it is still the most powerful stapler we have been able to find. Overall, a very good stapler. I just hope the company responds to feedback and solves this problem.

The order was filled and received in excellent time. I have only had the electric stapler for 1 week and impressed. The cord is long enough to move the stapler around my desk. A little loud when used, but not enough to cause an issue. I was surprised it came with staples.

Initially wasn't happy with order as I was sent the new replacement for what I ordered, this is a bit bigger. But after using it, I am very happy. It has a quick response and is quieter than my previous model. Handles 15-20 pages with no hesitation.
