This is a very hefty rope. I expect it's a bit too heavy for a 1 or 2 person tube, but it would be great for a 3 or 4 person towable.The true test of visibility is whether a downed skier can see the rope when it's floating in the water. The rope itself is very visible. That makes up for the fact that they used a black (almost not visible) float.The rope is also very easy to splice. It's fibers are very smooth allowing many knots to "slip" out on their own.

I just received this rope, so it won't get much use until next summer; however the rope is sturdy and thick. From experience with tow ropes, I expect this one to work well without any issues. It is rated for 1 - 4 riders, and due to its thickness and strength of weave, I don't think it will have any trouble pulling a heavier tube. Nice bright color for visibility as well...

I've used this rope many times now pulling teenagers that like a wild ride on a 3 person tube. Needless to say, this rope has been worked hard. I can't imagine how much force must be going through this rope with 500ish lbs. of people flying back and forth at high speed behind the boat. It's holding up perfectly and still looks as good as the day I received it. No frays or broken filaments. Great rope you can use with confidence.
