Update after month plus of use.I've installed this in my 2010 travel trailer.I started with 200 watts and now I'm up to 800 watts. Will go to 1,000 at some point.I installed all of this my self.Built in Bluetooth is nice and easy. Downloaded app and instantly connected. App is basic but works well when your trouble shooting panel issues while on the roof. P.s. all of my issues have been quick connectors loosing continuity.Unit is heavy seems well built.I've had problems with other brand controllers and would absolutely recommend this unit.....Unit is awesome, super happy with it bougeRV.Added in more solar panels and had to upgrade my controller to handle higher voltage incoming to the controller. Had a 30 amp pmw and upgraded to 60 amp mppt. Huge difference especially in early in day and later in the day. Seems like I pull in so much more in the off peak hours. That's huge. Good stuff. Very heavy feels super well made. Nice screws and connectors, not cheap stuff. It's blue to compatible and ready but you need to purchase the blue tooth module in addition to controller. Display is good. The unit is expensive but seems worth it.

This review is for the 30A version:The user interface without the Bluetooth would be a nightmare. The manual might be OK, but the steps/use would be difficult at best. Pushing buttons to navigate through the menus would be quite frustrating. But the App worked immediately for me on my Android phone and the settings were easy to apply. I really hate cell phones and "apps", but even I could do this in a few minutes. Hooked it up to a couple of 250 watt 36-volt panels in series and a 12-volt 100Ah LIFEPo4 battery box I put together, and it worked like a charm. I tested the low temp cutoff when it was still winter here in Colorado and it worked as expected. You can even change the values if you want to be a bit more conservative. But the defaults as programmed from the factory seemed fine. As I recall, I did have to specifically enable the low temperature protection. It was very obvious how to do that using the application. Note: The 95-volt limit is no joke. It would be great if it could support 150 volts, but this limit is documented in the description, so I have no actual problem with this as far as the product is concerned. Just wishing :).Quality wise, it's one of the better units I have purchased (of about 6 so far). Very happy with this one. These Bouge RV folks seem to be a bit out front of some other brands. The Low temperature charging was a deal maker in my application and the easy/simple application, and the performance was more icing on the cake. Nice to see someone providing these required features at a reasonable price.I did a quick test with some 12V Renogy 150-watt solar panel on my truck against an older but very reliable HQST PWM controller (years of reliable use), and the MPPT did outperform it by a rather easy to see margin. I did not collect enough data to tell you the difference, but it was indeed easy to see from the current applied to the battery in the same solar conditions.I waited to enter this review to make sure the controller would put up with me. It did and I'm very happy with it.Update: The firmware has updated several times since I've owned this. It just tells you there is a new version available and asks you if you want to install it. A few seconds later its updated. Pretty sweet. I haven't noticed any bugs or problems with any of the versions, but its great they are updating the product as time goes on.

Once I learned the 2 button interface,And figure out the instructions, It's not bad. And it matches my inverter. The app works even after the update. Except, you have to close the app and restart because it loses the connection. Sometimes. No big deal. The app is great though. I like seeing everythingPlus the load, highest charging amps, ext. Being able to program the load out time on and off. I set the disconnect power on the load to 12.8 and reconnect at 13.1. hucked up to 4 100 watt renogy panals. 2 months on. I'm happy. Feb 17th stopped using the app.It needs complete control over your phone to work. Bluetooth, location, and a network connection. I put it on a tablet, and it cried there was no network. And started screwing with the controller. Really the only thing the app has more than the controller is letting you know the top amps of the day. And it only goes back a week. That said, I bought another one for the back. Cause it works fine without the app.

I chose this controller because of the way my system is installed I cannot easily see the display and it had a Bluetooth-connected app that would allow me to see the workings of my system. WRONG... The app is useless. After many tries to connect to the app, I have concluded that this was a complete waste of my money. My phone and the app see the device but never connect. I have tried to connect with multiple devices, resetting the controller back to the factory settings, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. All to no avail. If you want a controller that you do not need app access this is probably a decent choice for you. Otherwise, I would go with another brand.UPDATE... The company contacted me and resolved the Bluetooth issue with a new app. Revising my 2 stars to 4 stars.

Very impressed so far !Size is very similar to my "Blue company" unit. The App is very user friendly and informative.I've not been using it very long, so I can not speak for long term reliability yet, but on first impression this is a very good MPPT unit to own. Integrated Bluetooth, no external modules required. Price is very competitive , better than most. Was easy to set up via the App.
