Two in use through summer and winter so far. Ones running solar charging a battery on a livestock fencer other it setup as a solar charger/maintainer on ag equipment. No problems yet. One was in a container out of rain. Other is out in the elements charging payloader batteries.

I have 2-10 amp and 3-20 amp of these charge controllers these are the best charge controllers I have purchased in the last 10 years they are small compact and one hundred percent waterproof I love the way the electronics are sealed in a silicone based substance similar to what they sealed Auto parts electronics in the 1980s.They work exactly like what is advertised I have even checked this on my multimeter they work great and should last for many many years. I also like the fact that these charge controllers are waterproof can tolerate high temperatures and also low temperatures. Super easy to install these charge controllers no programming needed.

Purchased this to charge our tear drop’s AGM battery. We wanted something that was water proof, could manage at least 300 watts and was affordable. We were able to wire this up in a matter of minutes and it began charging as soon as we connected our panels. We experienced in-climate weather, and again no issue when the sun came out.

I’ve Had a for a few weeks to use with a solar maintainer panel I use for an outdoor shower that I need to keep a battery charged for an rv water pump. I tried just using a solar maintainer with built in controller but ruined 2 batteries in a matter of days. Bought this and everything is working fine now. It has lights that light up to show connectivity. I like that I did not have to try to jam wires into a small hole to connect to controller like other controllers I’ve used. Easy quick set up. Done in about 10 minutes.

I used it to power a DIY solar powered forced air composter and it has powered thru temps from -20F to >100F continuously for at least two years now. Coupled with a deep cycle marine battery and a half square meter PV panel, it's a highly reliable DC power source.

How many times have you had a riding mower or four wheeler battery go dead from non-use? Using these to keep a riding lawnmower and four wheeler charged over the off-season. Had a spare 50W solar panel and put it to use with this. Split the output of the solar panel to two of these. This is the second year now and the batteries have not failed.

Can't tell you about its water resistance capabilities because I'm using it inside a small enclosure I built for my two generators; one is a regular 10,000 watts generator and the other is 4,500 watts inverter generator. Both are electric start capable, so they both require battery power. The issue with the batteries is that they can lose power quickly or get damage by just sitting around, or if they are not allowed to return to a full charge state after being used. I'm using this HUINE 20A 12V 24V Auto IP68 Waterproof PWM Solar Charge Controller to keep both of the generator's batteries fully charged and ready just in case an emergency. The charge controller is connected to a 160W 12V solar panel and, so far, it has kept both batteries fully charged, without any evident of an overcharged condition. The LED lights provide indication of the battery power, solar panel power and/or an attached load. One thing that users must be aware of is that this charge controller does not have a provision to shut the power off to the load side. So, if you're not planning to attach a load to the controller, you should either tape the wires or use wire caps before connecting batteries. Anyway, based on my results and low price of this charge controller, I recommend it. It has worked flawlessly up to this point.

Followed the directions, I have other solar controllers that work properly but they are not water proof, and neither of the two that I purchased worked 24 hours.
