These templates are everything that was stated in the product description. They came with detailed instructions on how to construct the bowl cozies.The only detail that was omitted in the instructions was just how much fabric was needed to make each size. I’m sure an experienced person who sews or makes quilts a lot would know. I guess when I want to make mine I’ll need to figure this out. That’s the only aspect of my purchase that disappointed me.

The instructions while there are very small to read and don’t tell you how big to cut your fabric before you quarter it to cut. The product itself is good. Just wish their instructions were more instructional.

Ok I want to say first if you don’t know what to do with these search youtube bowl cozy ruler tutorials and it walks you through it. On to my review: One of the rulers came broken but the other ones worked, made up a quick cozy to see how much easier than the old way, cute time down, easy to cut, and makes it easier to make sure all pieces match. Don’t want to return EVERYTHING when just one ruler broke. They used only 1 small piece of broken styrofoam (which was breaking apart every where) should have used bubble wrap. Disappointed came broke, may send back to get non broken rulers. I may make a video on how to use so people can see step by step, and some tricks I have learned from making in past.

These are great, and they make a good bowl cozy, but some of them are cut a bit off center. On my 11" template, the corner that sits on the fold isn't square, and I had to cut the fabric at 11.25" or they were too small, but since you don't really need precision for this project, it's fine. Just make sure your seams are generous so they don't pop after turning.

These bowl cozy templates were sturdier than expected. They're quite thick and should last a good long time. In all you'll get 6 templates of various sizes. The largest one is big enough to make a cat bed and is indeed cat approved. However, if you make one as a cat bed, I'd recommend using twice the amount of batting to make it a bit sturdier. The templates were easy to work with and even I, as a beginner in sewing, had no problems using them.

Smaller templates are sturdy as they are a solid piece. Made the 6" cozy and it turned out lovely. Larger templates are all broken, which is very disappointing. All snapped in the same corner. The size of the fabric needed is deceiving, states a size on each template but you need slightly larger.
