I started using a Boye round loom in December 2023. Kit came with hard plastic blue loom tool (photo right). Blue plastic tool worked fine but I wanted to find a loom tool with a softer grip. Found the Boye ergo loom tool. It is the pink loom tool (photo left) The pink rubber grip is more comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. The blue and pink have similar grip width and length. The straight metal part on the pink tool is a few millimeters longer than the blue. This hasn't made any difference for me in using the pink one.

It is very comfortable and I got pretty far in my project before the hook started twisting inside the grip. Still, I’m happy with it, especially for the price, I just added a drop of super glue down inside and it’s just fine. The same ones are at Walmart but are more expensive so I’m glad I got it in here not paying quite as much.

I made 43 loom knited hats for Christmas gifts which put me in need of a new hook. These are the only hooks I buy. They last longer than most & have the best metal angle that works very well for me!

The hook part itself is decent. As its thick doesn't bend easily.Unfortunately the handle part is lacking.As it moves around in your hand when trying to hook your yarn. Just makes it uncomfortable to deal with. Makes it harder to get hook where needs to be. Wouldn't buy.I differently don't recommend it

It's a must have! It's not sharp at the end. All the other needles I've gotten have a sharp end to them. Which makes it hard when you have to grab a piece of yarn and the second piece gets stuck onto the needle because of how sharp it is. I hate that. But that doesn't happen with this needle because it's nice a smooth on the end. It's still pointy like it's supposed to be but it's less sharp which is a really good thing..I hate getting picked with it when using it.I love this tool! It's a MUST HAVE if your looming. Or planning on looming etc.
