I purchased this product for a custom application based on its dimensions and its material (aluminum). The advertised, detailed dimensions were key to my purchase decision. I used this item to successfully mount a backup camera to an older vehicle. I had to enlarge a couple of the pre-drilled holes, and bend the bracket to fine-tune the camera view -- relatively easy to do with aluminum. The bracket is sturdy and it looks great.

This was an elegant and easy solution to a toggle switch mounting problem.The issue in my case however was that my switch was a DPDT 30 amp switch with screw terminals that exited to the sides. It was also wider than most switches. So unless mounting it with flat head screws, one has to bend the front plate slightly outward to allow the mounting screws to clear the switch as well as carefully adjust the mounting nuts for the toggle switch so the switch body clears the mount curves.

This was an easy install for a single toggle switch the bracket comes with a series of screw holes to take advantage of and if that doesn’t work for you there is plenty of room to drill a couple holes to customize and make a solid insulation
