After watching a video on how to adjust the pushrod on the brake booster by making multiple measurements and calculating the difference needed to make them match up perfectly and subtracting for the gap needed...Or was I supposed to add?...I just bought this inexpensive and very easy to use tool. It's simple and easy to use! It works! And my brakes are working properly now too! Great tool to have in my toolbox!

What an absolute time saver should have had one years ago great for accurate fitting of mismatched components which I do as part of my job tips on it are magnets

This is a pretty nice version of a tool where similar ones are manufactured by many different companies. Because it is pretty basic, I selected this one largely on price and delivery time. But I received a quality tool. It has a nicely finished aluminum frame, with magnets on the ends of each leg. That didn't help me when measuring my aluminum master cylinder (although many are cast iron so they'd help there), but I was able to measure anyway. On my steel brake booster the magnets were very handy. The only criticism I have is that the locking screw doesn't lock the measuring rod very securely; if you're not careful, the rod may shift when you're moving the tool from one measurement to another.

I recently purchased this and used it when I replaced my master cylinder. It simplified the process of verifying that the brake booster pushrod length was set correctly.

Did what it was supposed to do withoua lot of hassle. The only downside was it didnt have enough space between the legs to fit the mastercylinder. A few minutes on the lathe took care of that.

Where would I be without this little tool that I know nothing about but ordered it as soon as I found out about it. Price was fair, packaging 📦 was excellent and it's beginning to pay off on my project. Thanks!
