It worked very well, just make sure that the plate that goes against the inner side of the outer caliper wall has the u facing up, so that once the caliper piston had been spun back to flush, all you have to do is back off the tool a little ways, and that plate will drop out of the caliper, and you can remove the tool from the caliper. If you put the plate on the tool with the u facing down, you can’t get the tool to disengage because when you back the tool out, it will also back the piston out, because the plate will remain tight to caliper wall, because it can’t fall out of the caliper. I learned that one the hard way because there were no instructions included🤣

Had to grind down the nubs that engage the piston. Not much, maybe 1-2mm. Easy to do. Just budget an extra little bit of time to possibly deal with that.

A C-clamp will do this job, but this inexpensive tool made it much easier. I would like the handle to be a bit larger to help with leverage. Those last few cranks are tough, but it got the job done.

I bought this with the belief that it was a perfect fit for my 2012 Mazda 3, since the rear caliper has been rewound. It was not a fit at all. I ended up having to destroy the rubber bushing to rewind the caliper since I was out of options got my brake job. The material quality is good, at least from what I saw.
