I like that this requires no battery. I like the subtle color and the compact size. It is also fairly easy to read. This was one of my non-regretful buys.

Nice looking but a little hard to read and the hygrometer is only remotely accurate but it is consistent. We wanted it to cover a hole in the wall of our boat. Works great for that.

Purchased this thermoter/hygrometer to go into a new den we added to our house. Has a classy appearance, incredibly easy to mount, and so far seems to be fairly accurate (calibrated with Honeywell thermostat and red alcohol thermometer). Have seen some posts knocking the accuracy to which I say, "Come on, this is a $10 instrument, not a device to be used by the National Weather Service or AMS!" Bottom line, looks greats, works well, and does not have Made in China stamped on it or on the packaging.

I have checked the accuracy by checking the weather forecast for my zip code, it was within 5° which seems right because I live in a shady yard with lots of trees. The Hydrometer also was very close to the general prediction for my zip code. It is a perfect fit for the available space on my porch column. It is hard to read from inside the house (15 ft), but I can see the general direction of the needles and extrapolate from there. Any direct sun will throw the readings off, very important to keep it shaded, even filtered light will affect the readings while exposed.

Looks nice on the wall. I put it in bathroom along with another digital thermometer, both thermometers read pretty much the same but somehow the Hygrometer reading of this Brannan is off, showing 15% more than the other thermometer, I don't know if there is a way to adjust it, so I guess just to have it there to look nice but its hygrometer is useless. If the F reading is on the outside circle that would be nice and thinner pointers would help to see the markings clearer. Other than these issues, it's a cute little round thermometer.
