It is not the most professional tool, but it serves its purpose. I was able to do my job, which consisted of rethreading my oil pan and draining it whole with the same thread size, which was M12.5. The value of the money paid was worth it. Instead of going to a dealership, I bought this set, which is also very easy to use.

Nice, compact sets of taps and dies for around the house, handy carrying case and great selection of fine and standard threads for new work or repair of damaged threads. Not machine shop duty but adequate and economical for around the house.

This set has the exact pieces I needed for my 1981 Mercedes. I was able to rethread a wheel bolt and the wheel hub. My guess for the frequently turned is people use it and then return for refund. I’ll be keeping this.

Look your buying an economy set of taps....what could go wrong. Yet I stripped a threaded hole on my motorcycle and used this set to fix it. The tap handles suck but you can make do or buy a better one. I really like the ability to clean up threads when needed.

The taps and die are ok for basic cleanup of threads. The tap tool is cheap, would not use this set for anything more than cleaning up existing threads

I wasn’t expecting top-tier quality for the price, but I at least expected the set to be functional. Unfortunately, it fell short in multiple ways. The small tap driver wouldn’t tighten properly on the tap, making it nearly useless. The larger T-handle tap driver was extremely stiff and difficult to adjust—loosening it too much caused one side of the block to fall out entirely. Additionally, the taps are very soft and feel low quality. I didn’t bother testing the dies, but I suspect they would have similar issues. I purchased both the metric and SAE sets, and both had the same problems. Definitely not worth the money.

Pedà el kit de inicio porque querÃa colocar bien una bobina de bujÃa que estaba suelta y ya quedó bien, el machuelo jalo al 100, no se dañó pero si estaba duro, ya que la extensión pensada no cabÃa, pero con ese aditamento quedó bien.

I knew this was cheap so my expectations weren’t high. But I received two metric kits just in different coloured boxes… pretty disappointed they couldn’t even get that right

Unfortunately when this was delivered both red and blue cases were metric
