Quality is good enough I suppose. Made of relatively thin brass. 5/16" is a pretty good fit. The 1/2" side just falls out of 1/2" rubber hose. Fits fairly in 7/16" rubber hose.Overall it is the part I needed, but don't expect to use it with 1/2" rubber heater or fuel hose.
