Absolute junk! Very poor machining. Very thin and thus flimsy. I guess they are priced right though? Sending these back. In the meantime, someone point me to a place to buy a quality non-China made 4" brass pocket caliper. Thank you.

My caliper was loose and bent. It was only good for the first inch and then it was useless. If you need precision look at another option. Bought it thinking I would have a small caliper to have handy in my toolbox that is quickly accessible but found it to be useless out of the box. The bend came from the knob that is attached by a rivet that bends the part that extends. After 2.5 inches it sags and getting a good reading on something would be impossible. The only good thing about it was that it looked nice but I wish it was built better and with tighter tolerances
