I used these several times. I washed the covers of the bannetons after a few uses and hung them to dry. Put them back on and they were ready to go. The tools that come with it make it a great deal.

I just received this and when I opened the box to look at it the only thing not in the box is the blades for scoring the bread.

I bake bread. A lot of bread and all kinds of bread, and for the past 14 years it's all been with sourdough starter and no commercial yeast. I use standard loaf pans for sandwich bread but proof all my artisanal breads in bannetons.This set is great, and it's a great buy.I got two 10-inch bannetons with linen liners, a bench scraper, a plastic scraper, a dough whisk and a lame with additional blades, and the entire kit costs the same as I paid for the last two bannetons alone!The baskets are well made, and had no large or uneven gaps or strings from the rattan that needed to be cleaned off. The cloth liners are well made and nicely stitched. Most often I just flour the banneton and don't use the liner, but it's nice to have them for the occasional use.The bench scraper with the metal blade is nice. It is well made, it has measurment markings and the wood handle is comfortable to hold.The lame is also well made and nearly identical to one that I paid almost as much as this entire set for. It also came with additional blades and a blade cover.The dough whisk is also of very good quality, and it's a tool that I use all the time. Besides using it for mixing dough, it is a wonderful tool for mixing pancake batter, muffins, cornbread and other batters that do best when not overmixed.The only (very minor) disappointment was the white plastic dough cutter. Since the kit already included the bench knife, a softer bowl scraper with a rounded edge would have been much more useful, although I wil use this when cutting dough on a silicon mat so that the mat doesn't get damaged.If you're new to breadmaking, you know someone that bakes bread or you need additional supplies, this is a wonderful set.
