Love how easy it is to assemble and use! Best to get a 12 inch blade if you want long slices. It is so nice and sturdy. All my friends who see it are ordering it.

Not worth the money. It doesn't work well with larger loaves unless you have a very long bread knife. If your sourdough is somewhat hard at the bottom, you cut into the bottom of the bamboo, which leaves bamboo shreds. Placing and removing the slats can be challenging to insert and remove. I spend more time putting it together, taking it apart, and cutting the bread using this rather than just freely cutting it myself.

Easy to setup, easy to use, easy to store. I have the choice of thin or thick slices. Easy to clean. Good quality. I am very happy with this bread slicer.

I’ve used the bread slicer one time and it’s already splintering and cracking. The bamboo hasn’t even been touched by water for this to have happened.

Oh. My. Glob!! Game changer! I absolutely love this bread slicer! First of all, when I make bread, I make 2 loaves. It is so nice to be able to slice the bread uniformly for sandwiches... Absolutely simple design but it is beautiful and makes me wonder why I didn't think of that. I love that it collects the crumbs easily without all of the mess and it is easy to clean. NOTE: I did wash the entire slicer, let it air dry completely and then applied mineral oil to help protect the board, so it is protected from moisture, and it will last longer.The slicing guides and the back of the board that holds the loaf as a starting point, stores conveniently in the bread crumb tray. I kept the box to store it in for extra protection, which is really no larger than a board game box. There is a bonus linen bread bag in the slicing kit, which is absolutely a perfect way to store your bread, if there is any left...This bread slicer is certainly well worth having. I love to be able to change the thickness of the bread quickly and that I can adjust the width easily, so that if I have a nice round of bread or a loaf of bread, it takes minimal effort to make the change. I wish I had it sooner.If you are in the market for a nice bread slicing guide, this will most definitely be worth your while.

A decent alternative to just cutting sliced bread blindly. I find that it moves around a bit too much when cutting, unless you hold it up against your body. It does create very even slices though, which I love. There are two different thicknesses of slices which males this pretty convenient.It isn't too tricky to assemble and disassemble again, and is fairly easy to clean. However, one thing I have noticed though, is that some of the slots where I have used my knife have started showing wood peel shavings.So while I can be more careful not to cut too close to the wood in the future, it kind of defeats the purpose of this set up.

A very versatile bread slicing solution with multiple uses. The shallow tray allows nesting al the parts together in a compact manner. The tray acts as a crumb catcher when you put the slotted base into it. Then place the two sides with the slicing guides into the base. Ensure that the slicing guides are turned the same direction (one end has narrow slices, the other has broader slices). Then place the grooved locking plate down between the slicing guides to lock them in place. It is a tight fit and will bind up if you don't turn the slicing guides the same way. You can also use the tray for serving, and if you invert the tray, it can be used as a bread board or charcuterie tray. Also included is a bread bag with drawstring. Versatile!
