I am an avid bread maker at home and wanted a method to cut slices without destroying my bread lol. This works but can be a bit weird to get used to.

It slices my bread as expected however the quality could use improvement. The knife is flimsy and the wood gets shaved with the knife if it rubs against it.

This bread slicer is an absolute disaster. First off, the so-called “non-slip†feature is a joke. The thing slid across my counter like it was auditioning for an ice-skating competition. And the slicing guide? More like a messing-up guide! Every slice I attempted was either too thick, too thin, or just mangled beyond recognition. I ended up with crumbs everywhere—despite the crumb tray that’s apparently just for decoration.Speaking of crumbs, the crumb tray is so flimsy that it bends under the weight of the bread. How is that even possible? Oh, and the “knife†they include? It’s duller than my neighbor’s life stories. I’ve seen butter knives with sharper edges.As for the “10 clear plastic storage bags,†they are laughably cheap. One ripped the moment I tried to tie it, leaving me with crumbs (again!) all over my floor. And the “foldable

I bought this as I received a bread maker for Christmas. I realized I really couldn't slice a perfect slice, so I ended up buying this and it's been great. You can decide on however thick or thin you want, and it definitely has come in very handy.

Great looking product, but. The supplied "knife" has a blade so thin and flexible, it cannot cut a straight slice. Also, if trying to cut a loaf made in a bread machine, the loaf is much taller than the wood guides. Cannot get a straight slice off the loaf. If you use this for baguettes, and use a different knife than is included, it's OK. The unit folds up and stores well.
