This wasn't that good. I fermented for two weeks and bottled for two weeks. I ended up with an average European Lager with a slight licorice taste.

This is an easy to make kit and almost fool proof for beginners. I add extra water to mellow the taste and it gives me more beer. $12 for shipping brings this to $38 and sorry that is why it gets four stars.

The product description says it includes everything you need to make beer. But the label on the can says “requires additional fermentablesâ€. The instructions say you need brewing sugar or UME, which was not included in the package. So basically this is not a complete kit. The yellow amber says to add HME, and it requires hop extract, which was not included, nor was the yeast. They won’t accept a return either. So I feel cheated. I will never buy this product again, and recommend you don’t either.

I do not know if they sent me the incorrect ingredients or not but I followed all the directions exactly and it was not a Vienna Lager. It was dark in color and tasted like burnt chocolate. It was terrible. I can't believe that i had to do this but I poured it all down the toilet. It was not drinkable. I make a lot of craft beers and they have all come out very good to great. This one was terrible.
