I like this salad spinner, but especially the chopper/dicer. I use the chopper the most for dicing things up. Gets it done in a hurry and I don’t slice up my fingers. Easier than getting out my food processor. The salad spinner works great and I can leave the lettuce in the bowl and store in the fridge.

First, let my mention that I received this product for free because I am a previous Brieftons product owner and they wanted my opinion on their new model spinner/chopper combo.I already owned a previous model salad spinner and liked it very much. (See review here: https://amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3V2CZLF73DV66?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_srp). This new model is different in several significant ways. It is made of the same basic material as the old spinner which appears to be strong and long lasting. The first major difference I noticed was the fact that the plunger in the top was now removable (necessary because it is also used on the chopper/mixer). The plunger has a longer travel than the old one and is easier to use. It also generates a much faster spin rate which should result in more moisture being removed from the items being spun. Another major difference between the old and new model (and the reason for the deduction of 1 star) is the lack of a braking system on the new model. On the old model, the brake could be used to stop the spinning bowl almost immediately but on this new spinner without a brake, it sometimes takes quite a while before the bowl stops rotating. Not a huge deal but fairly significant. In fact, it really only deserves a 1/2 star deduction but that is not possible. The addition of the chopper/mixer is nice. I put it through its paces the day I received the unit. First, I cut up a stalk of celery into 2 inch pieces and placed them in the small bowl. This little gizmo chopped them up quickly and effortlessly (see photos). Next. I did the same with a carrot. This time, however the chopper jammed almost immediately. A piece of carrot got jammed between the bottom blade and the bottom of the bowl. I made the pieces a little smaller and that did the trick. Nicely chopped carrots in short order. Lastly, I tried some whole, shelled peanuts. While it did take more time and effort to get the job done, it worked surprisingly well. There were still a few whole peanut chunks left but I usually find this to be true no matter how I chop them (short of using a hammer). Overall, I was very pleased with the new salad spinner/chopper combo and would recommend it. If Brieftons could just return the braking system to the spinner, this would be perfect.

Given I am pretty much plant-based I eat a lot of greens and veggies. What I particularly liked was the included directions as well as one of the best produced videos I have ever seen. No doubts in how to successfully use it. The larger capacity bowl and strainer is also great. The pump is easy to use and very effective. One word of caution. It spins fast so when you stop pumping it best to hold the container as it takes a few seconds to stop and the bowl can move. Finally, I appreciated the design in that you can store everything together so that's a nice handy feature.I haven't used the chopper yet, but looking forward to it.My only wish is that the bowl was glass. Yes, you can find a cheaper spinner, but so far I think this is worth the extra money.

I love the salad spinner. It accommodates a lot of veggies and helps me prep so much quicker. The chopper is a bonus too. For prepping smaller quantities of foods this is so convenient.

This brand is not cheap but worth it. All are stable, sturdy, easy to clean, use all 3 all the time.This item the spinner, has good spin. Does the job beautifully. Elder with arthritis and other health issues limiting food choices, saves money at store, and let's me live a 'normal' life.Buy it! They covered most engineering obstacles found in a veg diet without frustration or pain.

I didn't open it until I was ready to wash it. I wasn't even ready to use it then, just planned to wash it and put it away so it'd be ready when I did eventually want to use it. First thing I noticed is the very fragile plastic it's made of and doubted it could last. I immediately thought of returning it. But then thought I'd at least give it a chance. While removing the plastic packaging to prepare all parts for washing I noticed the chopper bowl was already cracked. I returned to Amazon to request a refund or replacement to find I am 2 days past my allowed return date. I never even got to wash all the parts or use any of them. This item arrived damaged. Amazon referred me to Brieftons web site for customer service. I completed the "contact us" form and am waiting to see how or if they will attempt to resolve this. I'll update this review with the outcome.Briefton’s customer service rep responded to my email in a very timely manner. He was polite, asked a couple of questions and very shortly after issued a complete refund. I would definitely do business with them again based on the customer service alone.

The spinner feels solid and it is a quality product. The spinning action is very easy to use and very effective. However I had to return this as it had a small piece broken off the lid. Usual fantastic service from Amazon and prompt refund. The size is very large so check and make sure you can get it in you cupboard.

I really like this, don't get me wrong. Nothing bad to say about the salad tosser except for the fact that it's quite time consuming to assemble it, but other than that it's big and you can toss your salads with minimal effort! But the chopper, lovely as it was, broke after one use only... I contacted their support and received a 50% refund. So, BRILLIANT customer service, but shame they don't have spare parts - I really liked the idea of this chopper. This is the only reason I am giving 4 starts, because half of the product is going to the bin 😞

The salad spinner works as you would expect but the surprise was the side chopper. Cut an onion up into quarters and it dices it so fine. I have now used it on carrot too, cutting it up into smaller bits first, but not tiny and it handled them like a dream. Super impressed with both products and would recommend.
