I had a broken oven thermostat that was connected to the oven wiring harness with a plastic clip style connection that had gotten hot and brittle. I used two of these connectors to connect a new oven thermostat to the oven wiring harness. After that I wrapped the connectors individually with electrical tape. This worked well enough to for my multi-meter therm o-couple to show the oven heating at 345 degrees F when the oven was set to 350 degrees F. One week later it is still working. I believe this product should not be used inside the hot part of an oven, so don't be an idiot putting plastic in an oven. This product is the easiest way I have found to splice two small wires together.

I bought my wife a new radio for her truck for Christmas. These were awesome wiring the harnesses together really easy no wire stripping and they hold a lot better than electrical tape or soldering also made for a really fast installation.

Used these to splice a car stereo harness to an adapter harness for my car. I didn't want to cut off the existing stereo connector (or splice wire ends together) so I opted for this instead. These taps worked perfectly for the data wires, but the power and ground were a bit too thick. I ended up clipping away at the plastic on the tap and eventually got them closed well. They probably would have worked without the clipping, but they didn't snap closed and that was a concern.Powering the stereo, it seems all the connections work. I'm getting speaker sounds all around so all the taps made the connections they were meant to. They got the job done and I'm pleased with it.

I replaced a couple of JST SM Connectors in a Sole E35 Elliptical machine. The original JST SM collectors were hot clued on top of being crimped. And the wires had snapped off. I didn't need a crimping tool for these new connectors. There is a small "+" mark on one of the terminals to align the wires correctly on either side. I aligned my green wires to this "+" terminals and the red wires to the middle terminals on either side. It made it so easy to ensure that all wires were properly connecting on either side of the two connectors. Amazing, Simple & Brilliant design. Good quality.

Takes some extra steps and care to accommodate flat ribbon three conductor AWG 22. Fragile to close. They do work, but probably better options are available.

El conector de cables es muy facil de usar, tiene una entrada para el cable de conexion muy sencillo y se usa presionandolo con una pinza para cerrar el broche y que los cables hagan contacto.El cierre es muy bueno y la calidad del producto es muy buena. Se siente y ve solido y el contacto de cables se hace muy bien a la primera.El tamaño es compacto, pero manejable.

They work just fine if you don’t want to have to solder anything, I should have got the 2 point ones but these were ok. I’ve opened them back up carefully and reused them… overall worthwhile purchase.
