Used these connectors before and they seemed to make the connections faster than the wire nuts. Especially with multiple connections. A little more difficult when using shallow gang boxes.

I used these connectors indoors for braided 12 gauge 12volt LED landscape wiring connections before the wiring left the garage. Two problems. 1) I found it difficult to get a solid tug resistant connection. 2) Six months later the circuit failed and I found one of the connectors had heat damage and was partially melted. After replacing the failed connector I found several of them operating warm so I replaced them all with twisted connections and wire nuts I do not know the current I was using but my guess with ~ 30 5 watt LEDs at 12 v I was drawing 10-15 amps..

I purchased these since I had a medium size electrical project planned. I used similar types of these in the past, and the experience was great. These are ok, but it the execution is not quite as flawless as the others. It was harder to get inserted and clipped, and it took extra time, with still a few wires pulling out repeatedly. I would spend the extra money on the originals.
