It works fine. Seems to spill too much fertilizer while using. Easy to use. I actually bought as a salt spreader which I expect will work well.

I purchased to spread granules but it doesn’t work well with granules. It gets hard to crank as if the granules are clogging the mechanism. It also doesn’t spread properly when using granules. A lot of the product ends up on your shoes.It is build very sturdy as advertised.

It works well. Only thing is that I am right handed. Very hard to Use for me.

This is a very nice hand held spreader. I have two minor observations. First, it may be difficult for a person with small hands to hold the unit, squeeze the trigger, and turn the handle. Second, I would prefer the radius of the throw pattern to be somewhat larger. These are minor issues, and I have no regrets regarding my purchase.
