My youngest nephews, 6 and 8, love their wooden train sets. I’ve given many trains, track sets, bridges, buildings, etc, as gifts over the years.The Brio pieces are consistently the highest quality and most loved by both boys.Each of them received the Signal Station as a Christmas gift. The boys are in different states, but they reacted to the same feature: the changing of the signal from red to green when the track is switched. This is a fantastic piece to add to any wood train set. I was recently introduced to Brio and have literally purchased 3 different trains and 3 accessories in a 2 week time frame. Great quality and my toddler son is having a wonderful time with this signal station.My only complaint (but not a Brio issue) is that it does not work with several Chuggington trains (Wilson, Brewster, Koko).Otherwise, a must as it is very entertaining.

Really like Amazon train & other toys. Great choices. My family has always liked them. Being inexpensive we can buy them frequently. This is a particularly nice one to go with the rest of the set, all Amazon.

Another quality train toy from Brio. The Signal Station, upon opening, went immediately on my five year old, grandson's train table. He enjoyed it so much, that he refused to leave it at my house. Instead he insisted, that he wanted to bring the Signal Station, back to his house, so he could play with it everyday.

this switched rack is great for any Thomas Railway, Bigjigs, or Brio train set. While there are no sound effects, the red twist button on top changes the lights from green to red when the track switches. There is also a pedestrian walkway over looking the train track. It's just neat.
