first time sewing machine and it seems to work fine, good for beginners. there is a strange sound it's making which i don't really know what it's from and the bottom bobbin seems like it isn't holding the thread correctly but that could somehow be user error. bought it when it was priced about $150 which I'd say is definitely worth it. I've finished a few projects so far and it's pretty user friendly with it being computerized. many stitch options but honestly I probably won't end up using most of them. has an automatic threader which I don't use but could be useful for someone else who has trouble. comes with extra bobbins, extra feet, and some needles. there's a small sliding storage (which is where the extras are if you can't find them) on the machine itself which i also don't use because I don't like that things just rattle around in there so I keep everything in a separate case. cords disconnect and it's decently light so it's good for travel.

Great for the money. I live in Florida half the year and volunteer making items for the Cancer centers and Children’s hospitals as well as shelters and foster organizations. This will eliminate toting my other machine back and forth. Easy to operate, and some basic overlock and decorative stitches as well.Great for basic sewing needs.

Absolutely love the threading features and the ease of the machine! Definitely worth the money my 19yr old was easy to set it up by herself and learn with the directions given! Can’t wait to see what she makes!

This is my first sewing machine of my own. I’ve played around on other people’s but never anything serious. I’m so happy with this machine! It’s super easy to set up. It has a mechanism to help thread the needle which is super helpful! It’s pretty quiet and very sturdy but somehow lightweight. I broke the needle trying one of the fancier stitchings but I know that’s due to user error and not the machines fault.Overall I’m very satisfied with it! I’m not sure how it competes with more expensive models but for a mid range price it’s absolutely everything I needed and wanted as a beginner!

DOs: Ease of assembly for a novice like myself. I have it sitting on a sofa TRAY TABLE, which is fine. Many stitch patterns to go by, And the Elephant in the Room is the low price!!Don't;s: Pictures are good for instruction IF you have the general concept in mind. Otherwise, they make something look more complicated than it needs to be.

Love this sewing machine!! For the price it has a lot of features for stitching and easy to use for me who’s a first timer with using a sewing machine. It fit right on my crafting desk with out taking up too much space and not very loud when in use.

I purchased this particular sewing machine because I was told by experienced sewers that this would be a perfect purchase for someone who wants to do simple things like hemming. I learned quickly but because I have never touched a sewing machine I just need practice. I love the machine because I did not feel overwhelmed with al ot of buttons I probably will never used. I recommended this machine for beginners!!!

I have absolutely loved this machine! I've had it for about 8 months, and I haven't had a single issue with it. This was my first sewing machine ever, and I found it super easy to learn on. It's straight forward but still has a great amount of stitch options (including zig zag, button hole making, etc.). I spent a really long time researching a machine to buy, and I'm so glad I went with this one! It's great for a beginner, but it's also serving me well as I become an intermediate sewer. It's not too heavy, so it's been easy for me to travel with it to sewing classes and/or social sewing :) It's not too noisey, either. I really don't have any cons for this machine!

Great little machine for beginners and experienced. Only issue is when sewing heavy fabric. Made many quilts with this including queen size (with some difficulty) . Really is a great machine though for the price.

I have used this machine for over a year, it has lots of stitching options, very easy to use, durable and light, my child knocked it off the kitchen table and still works great.

Es buena y bonita, para trabajos de costura caseros. Sà eres principiante en la costura te será muy buena opción, si has trabajado en máquinas más industriales la sentirás muy ligera y un poco insuficiente y hasta incómoda, ya que al ponerse sobre una mesa, ésta se mueve mucho, lo mismo con el pedal, que al ser pequeño se está recorriendo muy seguido. No es veloz, se tiene que cocer a una velocidad lenta. Pero aún asà es buena. Ésta es mi experiencia ya que como pespuntador de chamarras de piel, sà sentà una gran diferencia con las otras máquinas de mesa y es entendible e inevitable la comparación.
