Absolutely love my new machine. It was so easy to thread, both the bobbin and the machine. Sews so beautifully! Easy to use and comes with so many extras. Excellent product at a good price. Love the hard cover as well.

I got this brother machine because my other model broke i wasnt sure about it but im so happy i did buy it it works great easy to use and just enough power for what i need. im finishing my quilt with it the tension on it is good and it was a good price im going to enjoy sewing more projects with this sewing machine.

I have a semi industrial brother and bought this machine mostly because I needed to make buttonholes for shirts, and also needed the zigzag stitch for lingerie. It’s nice that it comes with multiple stitches and even has the option of embroidering letters. I will be using this feature a lot for tags :).It is quiet, and pretty sturdy. It doesn’t move a lot. I can already tell it won’t sew on very thick material as the space between the presser foot and the feed dogs will not allow anything too thick in. That’s fine because you should not be sewing heavy duty materials with a home sewing machine anyway, although you might succeed if using the right needle and there are not many overlapping seams on your way.I loved the instructions manual. Honestly I feel like brother never disappoints when it comes to home sewing machines. For the price, I’m really pleased.I would definitely recommend this machine if you are looking for something affordable that can take most light and medium weight fabrics.Extra points for the blind stitch foot! I really appreciate not having to sew blinds by hand.

Here’s a rundown of my experience:Pros:The easy threading system is a dream come true, making setup quick and hassle-free.An abundance of stitch options means the sky's the limit for creativity. It sews beautifully, handling a variety of fabrics with ease.Cons:The mini table extender, intended to provide extra workspace, often feels more cumbersome than helpful.I've found the auto sewing function less intuitive than the traditional floor pedal. It’s a feature I've steered clear of, sticking to what I know best.Surprisingly, for a machine marketed towards sewing and quilting enthusiasts, it lacks essential accessories like quilting feet, a stitch in the ditch foot, and a walking foot.The horizontal thread placement has been problematic. My thread has caught on spools and broken mid-project, an issue I attribute to this design choice. It seems like a ploy to purchase additional accessories to prevent thread mishaps.The build quality leaves something to be desired. Compared to the solid feel of vintage machines like my mom's 1950s Kenmore, this machine feels flimsy, as if made from a lower grade of plastic.In summary, while this Brother machine offers a range of features that cater to both beginners and seasoned sewers, it's not without its flaws. The learning curve is expected, and I'm gradually getting to grips with its quirks. However, I can't help but wish for the sturdiness and simplicity of older models. Purchased this machine for my granddaughter who is a beginner at sewing. Brother is the next best to singer machines. The machine good quality, Easy to thread and there are many different stitch options. She loves it .. I may purchase one for myself to update my very old machine

I'm loving my new sewing machine and have already made several fun projects with it. It's a good machine for the price and has lots of nice features and stitches and is very quiet when using. The machine is light but good quality and stable.

I went from an old Singer to this Brother and am enjoying the newer machine. There are many different stitches to choose from, and different tension functions. it also comes with an extra arm. I like its appearance and different functions so that I can expand from sewing to quilting if I want to.

Better than a starter machine. Absolute gem. Instructions manual excellent. Stitches of all kinds. Accessories of needles, presser foots, etc. included. Quiet as whisper. Will see through any gauge fabric. Love it. Highly recommend.

Been using this for over a year with great success. Use it often and love it- definitely should buy another machine for the heavier fabrics or the 3-4 layers of fabric I sometimes sew. But for 2 ply and regular seeing it’s great!!! Smooth quick adjustable wherever you need it. And super easy to use- do not need to be a seasoned seamstress.

Hasta el momento funciona perfectamente la máquina. Se compró para un taller de costura, dado que se necesitaban hacer ojales, y esta máquina fue la alternativa para eso. HabÃa dudas porque pensábamos que no iba a aguantar la carga de trabajo y se iba a quemar su motor, pero hasta el momento ha trabajado muy bien y no se han tenido contratiempos con ella. Quizá el detalle a resaltar es el instructivo, porque es algo complicado de entender; pero hasta el momento estamos bastante satisfechos con la máquina.
