Love this machine. I bought this on a Black Friday sale and was completely new to sewing. This machine was easy to thread and the adjustable speed was great for me as a beginner. There are so many fancy stitch options and this machine handles them with ease. It is relatively portable and lightweight.

I did a lot of comparing machines before I purchased this Brother. I was used to sewing on a very large sophisticated, expensive sewing/embroidery machine. The machine has now become too heavy for me to lift to put on my kitchen table where I have to sew. When I received my new Brother I was in the middle of a project and decided to start sewing with it immediately. The directions were very clear and the longer I sewed the more functions I was able to use. This machine is unbelievable for the price and quality. I am an experienced sewer and this machine has the bells and whistles that you would find on a much more expensive machine. It is lightweight and can easily be moved off of the table and stored while not in use. The up and down needle position button is great. I have used this machine a lot and have not found one negative yet. I highly recommend this machine to a beginner or advanced sewer.

I’m a quilter and this machine works beautifully, especially for piecing. Machine quilting larger items can get a bit tight in the throat but it’s manageable. I highly recommend this machine.

I am a 74-year-old lady who has sewn since I was 12 years old. I mostly do alterations and mending. My previous machine was 22 years old so using a more modern machine has created a learning curve. However, this machine is easy to use, sturdy built and adequate weight (not to light weight). For the price and easy operation, I would recommend this machine for beginners or those who use a sewing machine infrequently.

My first Brother I purchased over 15 years ago, possibly 20. As long as I stick with Brother bobbins I don't have a problem. Sometimes I forget and use a different bobbin and everything gets all bound up underneath. I upgraded to this one because I am in the grandmother stage and making quilts for my grandchildren and want to be able to stitch the year on it. I was doing it by hand and it's not terrible. But after many months of doing hand embroidery I really want a nice clean lettering. I don't need a real fancy machine because this gets the job done! My favorite feature is the self-threading capability. Especially as I get older! I am not sure if I like the horizontal spool position. My old brother machine had a vertical spool. Like anything else it just takes time getting used to an upgrade. I'm not sure why the horizontal position matters though.

This is a beautiful machine for the price!! Sews well - very quiet - many, many stitch choices, easy to thread - jam proof bobbin. Would highly recommend this machine!!

La Máquina es muy bonita, medio año de uso y todo bien aunque solo la eh utilizado para detalles (ya que tiene varias funciones) o telas livianas, falta probar en telas un poco más pesadas. La recomiendo.

Fue muy buena la entrega del producto me llegó en menos de la fecha que me avÃan dado para entrega, y tenÃa miedo de que me fueran a estafar pero nada de eso, soy de Guadalajara, Jalisco, México y en verdad ame este producto muy bien protegido, con instructivo y voy a hacer grandes cosas con el â¤ï¸
