I had to search for some time, but finally found the perfect sewing machine for my uses. It has a huge variety of stitches, and unlike some of the other HD machines from Singer, has self threading, one step button. All of the niceities of a modern machine. Solid construction, high speed stitching that will easily make it through almost anything you can throw at it.To ice the cake, it even has one font of characters. All of this for a great price. Who does lifetime warrantees anymore? Singer.

There is not enough room for me to say everything I want to about this AWESOME sewing machine. I have been a tailor for MANY years. Singer really outdid themselves with this machine. It's fast, EASYX10!! Sure makes me look a lot more talented than I am. It does everything that is advertised PLUS so much more!

I like that it is quiet...not the most esthetically pleasing looking but then we're sewing right? Nice features but Singer should have made the thread spool holder so that it stands and lowers to make it easier to inset the spool..I almost broke it as it is an awkward angle to put the spool on. Other than that,so far I like it. Thank you

Sews great, love the features Only problem, mine came without the prong(hook) in between the two guides on the automatic needle threader is missing. I can still thread myself and sew. Just a bit disappointing.

Update - 2 days after the retun window closed the machine broke. I now have to take it to a repair shop and hope it can be fixed. Absolutely would not recommend.I have been sewing for over 20 years. Had been using a basic HD Singer purchased around 2004, this machine got damaged beyond repair in a move and I needed a replacement. I looked at several machines and purchased the 6700 with high hopes. I have been using it a little over a month now.Dislikes:My 1st observation upon unpacking was how light it was - it certainly didn't have the weight of my previous one.The display is nice but is not back-lit so is very hard to read depending on lighting in your room. It absolutely does not have the power I was expecting, it struggled on 2 layers of flat denim. It also appears to me that stitches are uneven length (I have not measured to confirm). I very much dislike that it only gives you 2 needle positions (center and one left of center). You only receive a couple of quick start instructions and have to go to Singers website to download the manual.Likes:I do really like the tie-off option and have used it frequently. The work surface light was bright. Like the top load bobbin with view plate.Overall opinion:If you're looking for a true heavy duty machine I would not recommend this. I think for someone just starting out sewing this would be a good option.The whole feel is just cheesy. I would not purchase this model again and will look at other manufacturers for a true HD machine.

We do a lot of sewing. This provides us an additional machine when we are both quilting. We have used Singer machines for over 20 years. If you are new to sewing this is a good heavy machine worth the money.

It was very easy to use, the auto threading needle is very convenient especially with my hand eye coordination. it has many different options of stitching so i have a lot to work with

I got this 2023 and I have been having a good time with it. I had to buy and extension table after a while, but it is a personal thing. It is easy to use without the extension table.

Si bien no es tan rápida como esperaba, es fantástica. Permite perfectamente coser muchas capas de tela resistente. El enhebrador de aguja es muy práctico y es muy fácil programar las distintas puntadas. El manual de la página no está tan completo pero existen muchos tutoriales en YouTube de la misma marca que te ayudan a hacer paso a paso tus creaciones. Apta para principiantes y para personas que empiezan a desarrollar proyectos de costura más complejos.Lo único que le falta es poder ajustar la atención del hilo inferior. La única manera de hacerlo parcialmente es tensionar el hilo al enhebrar la bobina.Las puntadas tipo overdrive funcionan bastante bien. Ojalá los grabados pudieran hacerse en distintos tamaños.

I can quilt. Do art work with fabric. Make bags.I sewed an 8 layer rag blanket with ease in one afternoon I’ve used cheaper sewing machines and they just gave me migraines frustration etc at Christmas time too. This machine is perfect
