This is such a cute little portable sewing machine, and it is most definitely for beginners. It only has 14 stitches, but it does a great job sewing. You can control it with a pedal or with a switch on the right-hand side of the machine. In my opinion, the faster of the two speeds is not fast at all, but this machine is something you would want to learn on, so it’s sufficient.It's kind of louder than I expected it would be for a small sewing machine. Thankfully I wear earbuds most of the time so it's not as bad for me, but I notice it's louder than my mom's high dollar sewing machines. I don't know that that's really important to anyone looking to purchase this, but I figured I would put it out there.The thread quality seems to be okay and everything works like it's supposed to. I would highly recommend this for anyone like myself who is just looking to learn how to sew. Practice will always make perfect, and when it does, I will get a better machine and give this to my nieces.Lastly, I thought the carrying bag was such an excellent touch because I hate having to store things in boxes or on shelves where they get dusty. This really is an excellent package.

So far great. The strings did come tangled so I had to untangle them, otherwise honest with how the machine works/looks like. Takes some time to learn all the functions but works well once you get the hang of it. Search a video or two if you’re a beginner. It’s pretty sturdy and not flimsy. Sewing speed is good for a beginner and makes minimal noise.

This is a smaller size, but it is powerful. It comes with a tote bag that will fit the machine and accessories. The tote is a great way to take the machine with you. It is light enough that taking it with you doesn’t require a lot of effort. I love that I can take this to another location and set it up with minimal effort. It seems to be made from quality materials. I should point out that I am a novice when it comes to using a sewing machine. Previously I would use my mom monstrous singer sewing machine when I had to. It was intimidating. This is so much easier in my opinion. I don’t hesitate to use it for a quick repair and have started learning to sew more elaborate pieces. This has an option to sew different stitches. It easy to change to different stitch patterns by turning the dial. I have not had a problem with winding a bobbin. This is something I had never accomplished before. The foot has a nice amount of height for a thicker item. I do find that I would like the foot pedal to feel sturdier. It came with a small accessory kit to get started. I feel like it sews as quickly as the large machine I used previously. I think as a beginner this is probably the best machine I could have started out with. My older neighbor tried it out and said she was skeptical at first, but agreed it wasn’t a bad little machine. I take that as a compliment. I use it often and actually enjoy learning the different ways I can use it.

This is a great sewing machine for someone who is just learning to sew or needs a machine that doesn't take up a lot of room and is easy to handle, or just wants a basic sewing machine that'll work for most common sewing tasks. On light and medium weight fabrics, on one layer of heavy denim, and on two layers of thin denim, it sewed straight and true with no skipped stitches. It didn't seem to struggle at all. On more than two layers of thin denim or two layers of medium or heavy weight denim, it seemed to struggle, the layers didn't move evenly with each other, and some stitches were skipped. Granted, quite a lot of much more expensive sewing machines will struggle with heavy weight denim or other thick materials, so this really isn't a surprise for me.I pieced together several 10" quilt squares using good cotton quilting fabric with no problems at all. I opened the seam on a pair of cotton/poly slacks to sew a pocket into it and other than having to fuss with the slacks a bit to get them to fit in the throat (space to the right of the needle), I had no problems at all.Threading this machine is simple and straightforward. The built in straight and zig-zag stitches provide a good variety of stitching styles that would cover probably 90% or more of most common sewing tasks. I do wish the LED light was a bit brighter, but it's probably bright enough for most people - I just happen to prefer blinding bright lights for all my crafting ;)

This is not your grandma's singer, but not a far cry either. This is one of those things I have to rate based on price, because the whole point is that it's so much more affordable than the "real deal".I'm not running a tailoring business, not sewing for the grandkids, I just don't need it to be what the pricier machines are.I just wanted to be able to professionally hem pants, fix loose stitches, maybe a small hobby project here and there, and this is perfect for that.Mine mostly sits in the spare room unused, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but after a few uses, I can say it's as reliable as my modest needs require and I love the smaller size.The storage bag does look like grandma picked it, but that's fine for me, not like I'm travelling with it or even care what others might think, in fact, I kinda like it in a funny way.

My niece is taking a sewing class in school and my wife and I decided to get her this 'mini' sewing machine. Though it's small, it can do many things a larger sewer machine can. There are various accessories included too. The one I like the best is the cylindrical sewing attachment. This allow you to sew over the bottom of your pants if you need to do any hemming of jeans or other pants. You also will receive 14 tiny spools of thread. I recommend going to the store and purchasing a larger spool, since these tiny spools do not last too long. This sewing machine is perfect for the beginner. Price point is also reasonable. Highly recommend!!

通常のミシンより一回りから二回りくらい小さめです。届いた時ちっさいという印象でした。付属品は可愛い明るい柄の生地がたくさん付いて来ました。収納袋も生地もランダムで発送されるようです。私はブルーの可愛い柄でした!糸は画像と同じ12色が届きました。パッケージは英語のみでしたが説明書は全て日本語なのでミシンが初めての方でも糸の通し方などとても丁寧に記載されていますのでどなたでもセッティング可能だと思います。またミシンにも番号がふってあるので慣れればすぐに糸掛けが出来るかと思います。変えの針やボビン（白糸が予めマックスに巻かれています）糸通しなど必要なものは全て揃っています。ただ足踏みは全てプラスチックで出来ており一般の足踏みペダルの4分の1足らずのとてもチープなものです。大切に使わないと断線してしまいそうな細い線です。取り扱いに気をつけないといけません。高価なミシンと比べると機能こそ少ないですがポーチなど簡単なものを作るくらいなら軽いしコンパクトですし完全にしまわなくても良い大きさなので結構活躍度が高くなるとは思います。コンパクトですので手の大きい方は少し取り扱いしにくいかなというイメージがあります

基本性能は、本格的ミシンとほとんど変わらないと思います。少なくとも昭和のミシンよりは進化していますね。キッズならずとも、初心者の大人でも慣れないと使いこなせないでしょう。キッズの教養を高める目的で、我が家では導入しています(*'▽')

重量約1.96kg、見た目より軽量で持ちやすいです。付属品も充実していてすぐに使用できます。動作音は静かで、精度も問題ありませんでした。ちょっとした縫い物ならこれで十分だと思います。

女子の小学生のプレゼントに、この値段でこれだけ出来れば文句のつけようが無い。興味を持ち始めて、人形の洋服や小物作りを始めたので大喜びでした。下糸のボビン取り付けなど使用方法も通常のミシンと大差無く、コンパクトで扱い易い製品でした。
