These were recommended by BTF so since we bought the BTF Lights, we got these but they are really bad quality just like the BTF lights. After we cut the lights strips to install the around corners, they would not work with these connectors. What a waster of time and money. DO NOT BUY THESE OR THE BTF LIGHTS

I wanted to install a ribbon light under the edge of the bed in our motorhome. I had originally ordered some parts for this and BTF let me know within 24 hours of the order that the parts I had ordered would not work together. They worked with me to get the correct parts for my application ordered and gave me additional help during the install (even on the weekend). The install looked and worked just the way that I was envisioning it due to the help of BTF’s awesome service.

So far so good. The connectors are not the easiest to work with. I used my meter to see how they were attached at each step to very I had a good connection. Do not strip the wire, cut square and push it in. Crimp with a pair of pliers. I did the strip side first then the wire side. I had to go back and squeeze them again on the strip side to be sure the metal was fully attached. Meter showed all connections were good. The connectors are inside the track mounted under the kitchen cabinets. I will update in the future if there is ever any issues, no update means no issues. I will copy here my overall review on the system for reference so you can see the entire system that I used. Note that the wire I also ordered from this company did not fit this connector. The wire that came with the LED strip and the kit worked great. I soldered the wires together to get the length I needed with some heat shrink added to protect it. See picture.WOW, what can I say - an application and product that work together and was very easy to install. That does not happen all the time. I decided on BTF-Lighting for everything to keep it simple. Reaching out to their customer support was promptly replied to with a design to fit what I wanted. Opted for the brighter strip as this is task lighting under the cabinets in both the kitchen and laundry area. Only snag I had was the wire did not fit into the connectors, just some quick solder and heat shrink tubing did the trick. Installed the controller inside the bottom of the cabinet, power supply on the top shelf of the cabinet to prevent little hands from reaching it. If you buy these double check the pitch of your strip. I build all mine up and when I connected them I realized all the connections were off.

Led strip and connector does not match with 5050 led strip so you'll never get a good connection

I didn't do enough research, and I bought a Great value brand led 5pin light strip, (which are great) but I needed to do a 90degree angle and bought these, but the straps have a rubber coating that won't let these connectors get a connection.

I really like the variety that comes in the pack. However, the connectors are crimp type. If you mess up or a wire does not set correctly, you have to cut it off and throw it away. There is no way to correct it.

These connectors are easy enough to use. However, I have one connection that isn't great - need to jiggle it a bit for it to work. I suspect it could be the LED strips that I chose to use. However, the way the connectors clamp down on the strip push pins through the copper trace and basically ruins it after that. If you need to remove the connector, that part of the strip cannot be used again since the connection is destructive to the LED strip.

One of the most frustrating products I've ever experienced. The connectors are very finicky and require an extraordinary amount of trail and error to get right. I wasted 3 of the 4 gapless solderless connectors before I got it right with all 5 wires connected and the full array of RGBW LED's working. . The extension pieces are a little easier to work with but opening the tabs is very difficult, expect lots of broken fingernails. Same for placing the LED strip under the connectors, lots of trail and error.In all honesty, I wish I had just stuck to soldered connections, it would have been a whole lot easier. I would not recommend this product.

The fact that I ordered the amount I needed but a couple clips arrived broken has caused me to not be able to move forward with my project. And they are now out of stock so I can't buy more. Very dissapointed.
