Decided to upgrade my female Syrian to a taller and slightly longer/wider enclosure. Took me maybe 20 mins to put together by myself. It was a little difficult but if you follow the instructions it’s fairly easy. When putting on the top start with the front left corner, then move to the back right corner, front right, back left. It’s a tight fit (which is good) it makes the panels on all sides more sturdy. I love that it is chew proof and the front opening panel is great for easy access to food/hammy. It is also much easier to move around than the heavy enclosure I had her in before. Also will be easier to clean! I also like that you can stack them or add wheels, I ordered both and two enclosures so both my hammys can be consolidated to one area. Plus the look of the cage is sleek and nice looking.

This enclosure is absolute perfection! The split lid, huge front door, ventilation, and massive size make it the perfect enclosure for a hamster. We have 2 and hope to buy 2 more soon. They're big enough to keep our very active and curious female Syrian hamsters happy. It's lightweight, easy to assemble, and aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommended!

I've tried several different small animal cages with pets in the past, and I think this one has been hands-down my favorite so far. It arrived pretty quickly, but putting it together was a tiny bit tricky. Not impossible or even really hard (I did it myself w/o help), but a little tricky. The directions were not written in great English, so the YouTube video I watched (referenced in the instructions) showing the assembly helped a bit.I appreciated that the acrylic sides had a protective, peel-off film on them - reducing the possibility of scratches on them. ...There WAS still a scratch in one of the corners, but it wasn't a deep one, so no big deal. The rubber in between the panels was a tiny bit tricky too (fitting the acrylic into them), but I was able to flatten them down enough and they helped the panels not wobble as much when in place.Sure, it's definitely not the cheapest hamster cage for sale out there... but if you know anything about hamster care, you'll know that MANY of the cages people sell really aren't ADEQUATE enough to be a decent hamster habitat. For what it costs, this habitat really is terrific. It has a great amount of room for a hamster (or other small 'pocket pet') to move around, burrow around, and feel comfortable instead of claustrophobic. I got the smaller of the two sizes offered, and I still had plenty of room for a hamster bath, wheel, and a few different 'hideaways'. Having more than one way to get into the enclosure (top AND front doors) is a nice option too.Basically, if you're on the fence about buying this, absolutely do so. It's been worth every penny thus far. There's other cages/tanks/enclosures out there, but don't waste time/effort/money on something that just probably won't be as good, and might not be good for your little hammy (or similar). My Syrian has been happy and comfy in his new home so far, and I hope to use it long-term for multiple pets in the future.

This is a very well built, sturdy, spacious hamster cage. Unfortunately, it came with a broken piece on the lid. For the price, If this were a cheaper cage, fine. But for what I paid for it, I expect it to come with no broken parts. They are sending a replacement, but now I'm stuck with the burden of swapping out the one broken piece then packaging up this huge box again, hauling it to the ups store, somehow dragging it inside (I've had 2 shoulder surgeries in the last 7 months, so I only have 1 good arm, but even with 2 good arms this would be a task!). This is a huge package to have to deal with a return on! For the price, I don't feel like I should be burdened with such a hassle!

Had to get a new cage because my hammy chewed through her Niteangel cage. Hands down the best hamster cage I’ve ever had. It meets the minimum requirements for a Syrian, and it being made out of metal and acrylic makes so much sense. If your hammy is an escape artist or a chewer I would highly recommend getting this cage. So many reviews complain about how difficult it is to put together but this was the easiest cage I’ve ever put together. It’s very straight forward, not many steps, all the pieces are incredibly light and everything fit together just fine. Also the fact that you can stack cages too is awesome. Saves so much space and looks good!

Great cage for hamsters, and you can take the side panels off to connect it to a second cage if you’d like. (I did not but I did see a photo of someone do that with theirs.)With the two top opening doors on the lid it is fairly easy to clean. It looks great, and takes up a good chunk of space. The frame and lid feels like aluminum, I do not know what the sheet of the base is made of (it has a give to it but nothing you need to worry about if used correctly), and the clear panels for viewing feels like a type of acrylic. The acrylic is wobbly when not in the frame, but that’s to be expected. It doesn’t feel fragile but I do worry about snapping a knob off. Once it snapped into place, I didn’t dare to try snapping it off.I would like put a hedgehog in it but I have no clue if it is resistant to heat for an under tank heater. If you ever have to take it apart be careful about applying pressure to hold the cage down, I cracked the bottom panel of my 100 cm BUCATSTATE enclosure. It was completely my fault, but customer service is great and I’ll be buying a new cage bottom when it’s back in stock. I will warn that careless pressure may snap the acrylic sides too.Great news though I learned they sell replacement parts for everything but the top lid.(Which also feels like the most sturdy thing as it’s built almost entirely of what I can assume is aluminum)

I had a pawhut for my hamster before this and it was way harder to build than this cage, I really like the quality of this cage and I really like that the door is high enough to make sure there’s a good amount of bedding for your hamster to burrow, I would recommend this to anybody who has a hamster especially a female hamster like me. It does take 2 people to build though unless this is just from my experience, me and my mom built it. My hamster loves this cage way more than her pawhut. Such a great upgrade, if you’re thinking about getting this cage and have the space for it I would say go for it, it’s very pricy but worth it!I did buy wheels separately that was made for this cage and I would suggest getting that as well.

I recently bought the Bucatstate 3.0 Hamster Cage, and overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to my hamster care journey. The cage is spacious and well-ventilated, providing my hamster with plenty of room to explore, burrow, and play. The design is thoughtfully laid out, with easy-to-access areas that make feeding and cleaning relatively hassle-free.One thing to note, however, is that assembly was a bit challenging. The instructions could be clearer, and it took me a bit of time and patience to get everything set up just right. A few of the parts required extra effort to snap into place, and I had to double-check that all the pieces were secured properly. But once it was all assembled, the cage felt very sturdy and secure. If you’re willing to invest a little extra time in assembly, this cage is an excellent choice. It’s durable, spacious, and provides a great environment for hamster to thrive. My hamster has been much more active and seems happier with all the space and features. Just be prepared for a bit of a puzzle when you’re putting it together!

I have been using the 2.0 Bucatstate enclosure and I have definitely noticed improvements with this new 3.0 enclosure. Firstly I really appreciate that they now offer a larger size suitable for syrian hamsters. This enclosure feels better quality than the 2.0 enclosure, it has thicker acrylic that isn't as flimsy and doesn't bend as much once you put the bedding inside. My previous 2.0 enclosure arrived with a few scratches on the inside of the metal, but they have changed the metal on the 3.0 enclosure to more of a matt texture and it arrived without any scratches. They have also added steel reinforcements to the bottom of the enclosure to prevent it from caving in under the weight of any bedding or cage accessories. One thing I will say is make sure you tighten these before adding any bedding in the enclosure. The biggest difference between the 2.0 and the 3.0 enclosure is they've added rubber to all of the acrylic side panels, and also in the base and the lid. This makes the whole enclosure a lot more sturdy and stops it rattling around as much, and shock absorbs any movement. The only reason this doesn't get a 5 star review from me is because the addition of these pieces does make it more difficult to put together. It is definitely a two person job, to be able to line the acrylic side panels up with the holes, otherwise the rubber pieces get stuck and peel off. Also do not skip the step on the instructions that tells you to use the spare piece of acrylic the enclosure comes with and wiggle this into the rubber on the base and the top lid of the enclosure to make room for the acrylic to slot in. I skipped this step and created more work for myself when the rubber pieces bent and made it more difficult for the lid to fit on the enclosure. Once this was rectified the whole enclosure now feels very good quality and sturdy. Despite the high price point, I do think this enclosure is a good investment for someone who wants a large, sturdy enclosure with great front door access to their small pets.

I got this 3.0 bucatstate 120cm for my Syrian hamster 3 months ago and I like that Bucatstate upgraded the cage features to offer a bigger option (120 cm) which they did not have in the 2.0. The pieces came well packaged and in excellent condition and the instructions were very straight forward. Only thing I found difficult to assembly was when it came to inserting the panels inside the frames. They do not just slide smoothly into the frames, you actually have to jiggle them gradually until they are fully inserted. Another advice I would give to other customers would be to really be patient when settling the rubber bands within the bottom and top frames. It's really worth taking the time to do this first step before mounting anything, otherwise the frames will not be perfectly aligned at the end. I was missing one little piece of accessories for the front door and contacted Butcatstate who responded promptly and sent me the missing parts. Overall 5 stars because the customer service was excellent and because the cage is spacious, sturdy and stackable. I do recommend this cage model and size to anyone who is looking for a 120cm enclosure for their hamsters.
