I took the spare tire and carrier off a Jeep jk and the blackout plate fit perfect. Aluminum construction about 1/8" thick. The rubber fill plugs fit well and finished the tailgate off with a good look. Value. I was going to buy a piece of aluminum and make it myself. It was cheaper to purchase the kit.
