Excellent, strong and easy to install. The bolts could use an extra nut each, so they could be attached to the carrier frame and also have nuts to hold the spare. They are metric and hard to find replacements.

I was going to make my own (practically the same design) when I found this on Amazon. For the price (not including labor) I would have been close to breaking even. This is well-designed, works well and fits into a standard stake pocket. Good value and functional.

Fits stake bed pockets fairly well on Aluma trailer. I had to put shims around the outside of the 1st one I tried in order to make it steady. The 2nd one was a good fit w/o shims. This is a difference in the manufacture of the trailer. I also had to do some adapting with spacers (washers) to keep it from over tightening and bending the bottom plate.

Bought a new trailer and spare tire. Bought this stake pocket holder and replaced the bolts with bolt size to match lugs 1/2x20. Turns out the stake pocket holder is too large for the pockets. Bummer. Returned.

When driving the tire flexes the top angle. My suggestion is … if the topangle is 1/8†it will need a support under it.
