I have been using a cheaper plastic version; and I didn't think I'd see anything better than that; until this one showed up int the things i could try from the Amazon Vine program.The plastic version only a few had the basic function with none of the other great features that this one has. And, it was only a little less expensive than this aluminum wrench with uses for 55, and 5 gallon containers.The rubber grip is a big plus for both comfort, and utility. I have had to work on on my rain barrels in the rain; so having a non-slip grip is a plus.And, I'll be putting a weather seal on the driveway this Summer; so the 5 gallon bucket opener will be a big help for that. I'm really happy I decided to try this tool.

Needed this for work to open 50 gallon DEF barrels. We were always having to get creative. This is perfect for removing the bung caps. It fits perfect and doesn't slip. Took a cap off in about 5 seconds. It's made of cast aluminum and has a comfortable rubber grip. It also has a speaker on the opposite side. I didn't use this, so I don't know how well it works.No complaints or issues.

I don't use materials from a 5 gallon bucket very often but every time I have, I wished I had a tool like this. I finally broke down and got this one in case I also need to open a bung hole ever. It is cast aluminum with a nicely dipped handle. I haven't tested the bung wrench, but the bucket opening function works perfectly. This seems like a better design than some others and a big upgrade over the plastic versions.

As a small shop owner, I frequently interact with various drums. Whether it be bulk oil, grease, a drum for depositing waste oil or fluids, you need some way to open and close the bungs, this provides that.It does have hooks on it for removing lids from open top barrels, as well as a socket for opening and/or closing bungs on drums. I haven't had any issues, and it now hangs on the wall.The only thing I do have some gripe with is how cheap it feels, the metal is very light weight, it doesn't seem like it would hold up well to any abuse which is not confidence inspiring. All that being said, it only lost 1 star for that. It's pretty cheap and it gets the job done so if you're in the market and don't want to break the bank, it's worth giving a try.

This tool is great for taking the lids off of 5-gallon buckets as well as removing the bungs from barrels. It's a great tool to have in the shop and it's not very long, so it is easy to store when not in use.It is strong, sturdy and works as it should. I recommend.

Solid aluminum and indeed very light. Cast pretty well, but there are a couple spots of flash thats a bit sharp and can be fixed with a quick filing, but works fine despite that. The handle is rubber-dipped for a perfect fit, is textured for grip, and is comfortable to hold. I’m pretty impressed of the quality for the price.

I use 55 gallon food-safe drums for maple sap collection. It is common for the lids to be frozen on and be difficult to remove. This bung wrench makes it very easy to break them free.It also has a hammer and pry tools for snap on lids.Lightweight and easy to use.

Well made and comfortable to use. Seems to be made from an aluminum alloy so it is light weight. Fits the bung lids on the 55 gallon drums very well with sufficient length to provide good leverage for removing and tightening them. Excellent value.
