Actually pretty good quality. I was shocked because it was so cheap. Nice welds and it is powder coated. I didn’t put it on frame, I instead fit it to winch support and bought shorter bolts -still easy to install and very sturdy.*Doesn’t come with a lug nut. *You will need a m14-2.0 thread lug nut. I picked one up at the auto parts store. I only used one and just use lock on other lug support. I would recommend this product.

Easy to mount and seems extremely sturdy. Will check bolts after the first couple of uses, but my wheel isn’t super heavy so I don’t have any concerns.

I’ll preface this review by saying that the trailer tire bracket itself is perfect. It’s held up beautifully with lots of miles and nothing has loosened or budged - except the lock.I wanted to add some tongue weight to my boat trailer and at the same time, put my spare tire somewhere other than the bed of my truck. Call me paranoid, but I always locked my spare inside the truck cab when I launched my boat on the water. I’ve heard stories of guys coming back to their truck to find that someone jacked their spare.The lock feature of this is primarily what sold me. At the same time, it’s my only disappointment. The lock that is included in this is pitiful. In only 6 months, it shows an immense amount of rust. The biggest issue came when I found it unlocked itself during a drive to the boat ramp.Understandably, it needs to be a small diameter lock to work here. I found a 1†lock here on Amazon to replace it. At the end of the day, anyone with the will, can find a way to steal it. Not many locks are doing to withstand bolt cutters so it’s always a gamble. But I have more peace of mind with the new lock.Still, I would recommend this bracket to family, friends, or my fellow Amazon shopper considering it!Hopefully you found this helpful!

Needed to elevate my tire on the bumper of the RV works beautifully. Now I can fit my trailer hitch without problems.

Installed on the tongue of a boat trailer. The assembly was straight forward in mounting but when it came to putting the rim on the provided bolts, they are too large for a standard trailer wheel or most cars. You will have to verify if this is the case with your wheel-tire assembly. If so, just purchase a useable size bolt and nut from the local hardware store and you are going to be alright.When I installed the bolts I added an extra nut to anchor the bolt to the mount, then putting the wheel assembly on and using a second nut to secure the wheel to the carrier assembly. This keeps the bolt locked in place while tightening/loosening the retaining nuts holding the wheel assembly on the carrier. Other wise you will encounter the bolt floating and turning when you are loosening/tightening the outer nut hold your wheel assembly on the carrier.I am pleased with the mount, other than the oversize bolts for mounting the wheel that are provided. I recommend this unit for anyone who has need of a extra wheel carrier on their vehicle or trailer.
