Nice burlap bag for potatoes. I didnt notice petroleum smell, just jute burlap smell. Will hand wash/air dry before using because end user is sensitive to smells also to try to soften fabric slightly. Do not use fabric softener/dryer sheets though because they coat the fabric and may be less able to keep potatoes fresh due to decreased airflow. Good size, all seams/stitching seem to be well sewn. Drawstring seems fine. One review claims it holds 10 lbs, looks more like 5 lbs. Will update if product doesn’t hold up well to use. **update-just hand washed in vinegar and small amount of dish soap, and is hanging dry. The petroleum smell is apparent now. Is hanging outside to offgas. Dimensions after washing 11x15â€.

This potato bag can fit about 7 full size potatoes - perfect for my needs. It appears to be durable as well. Overall 5/5 no complaints!

This burlap potato bag is just as advertised. The bag is good quality and strong. The issue with this bag has a very strong petroleum smell. The smell is overwhelming. I am hoping it will air out as it is a cute bag. It is also very pricey.

Bag description says it is chemical free, but the smell of petroleum is so strong even after I washed it in soap and vinegar! Also, bag has a tag noting it was made in China, and I’ve noticed the petroleum smell in other items from China.
