This product may have worked as a temporary solution but it was so sloppy that I was not confident in using it at all. I threw it away. The bushing did not fit tightly in the eye loop of the rod and it did not snap snugly onto the ball stud. From a vehicle safety standpoint, this was not acceptable.

works great for a 2008 caliber 1.8 with a 5 speed manual. Not sure why this part is often returned , it worked great for me with no play on the bushings , took about 10 min to install these. it certainly beats paying $200 for a new shift cable set from mopar.

The other reviews keep saying it didn’t fit, however I don’t think they realize how much force it normally takes to press this piece in. If it were easy to fit, it wouldn’t be a good bushing. It’s a pain to install, make no mistake.I had to compress it a fair bit with channel locks to get it into the cable loop, and then grease the ball (grease was included) and then compress it in.

Does the job ! Might have to heat it up a bit (not too much) to make the installation easier. Will see if it holds up over time.
