My wife likes this beginner kit for crocheting but says that if you do not have access to internet, which is where all the pattern instructions and videos are, this kit would not work. Plenty of yarn to make this blanket - Includes yarn, crochet hooks, stitch markers, yarn needle, and scissors. 80 Squares that are about 3.5''X 3.5''. The blanket is about 36"X 28''. A great way to learn - after making 80 squares you will have found out IF crocheting is for you.

We have lots of babies being born this year and this is a great kit to make a small blanket - perfect size for a new baby.Pros:Includes all tools - crochet hook, scissors, stitch markers, tape measureEasy to follow instructions (must use QR code as no written instructions)Soft YarnBeautiful yarn colorsCons:The only con and it's not a big deal for me is that there aren't written instructions. I followed the videos so didn't need the pdf version.Overall this is a great kit for both beginners as well as established crocheters. Its a great all inclusive kit and would make a great gift!

The yarn is soft, and included tools are fine. Be sure to get the pdf of directions before tossing the bag. Lots of videos, and a joining method I hadn't seen before that produces lovely results when you want a visible seam join (with a crochet hook!). I wish the visual pattern (at least) was printed & included. Overall, nice kit.
